If you run lameboi/frootloop rb/ch/pal, you don't do terrible damage even in S&B. You can switch to 2H as needed, for example to hit with burst and sweeping strikes.

All I'm saying is running around in 2H is not a good idea when you can switch to 2H for dishing out damage as needed. Run in with S&B, switch to 2H, kill stuff, switch back to S&B. Rinse, repeat.

It's a VERY bad idea to run only 2H at below R6. You will just explode. If you want to use 2H just switch to it after you're in range.

I'm fully geared R8 and I don't run in with 2H, even with pocket heals.

P.S. I think being able to switch between S&B and 2H is one of the strongest aspects of warriors in pvp remaining to us. It's a real advantage in a class which has few. Learn to use it and love it.

You should always have loadequip macroed so you can switch between 2h and s/b as the situation calls for it. If your taking a lot of physical damage get your shield out. If you are getting pummeled by a mage, get that 2h out and pray you can pummel him faster. I see so many warriors run around the whole fight in s/b even though it is not called for it, so in effect they nerf themselves for about 20-30% of their damage (2h has higher dps, and a higher normalization speed so double more dps XD. Plus if you use oils its even more).

I have some bad news for you. I didn't find 2H dps to be viable until I hit rank 8. Yes I am serious. At R4 with a 44 dps two hander I could not kill r6+ healers, they would laugh at me. Even at R8 I cannot kill R8 healers that are heal specced solo with Lingering Wounds.

    About gameplay.

Well as a wow vet i am used just like Xney to switch SnB/2h all the time in pvp, probably like 20-40 times per warfront.

About killing healers rank 8 or not:

U doing it wrong if u think its about killing the rank 8 healer by yourself. In fact u dont need to that at all.

    - All u have to do is to put enough pressure on that healer that he will do mistakes:

    - Zerg healer while doing AoE on his buddies, he goes defmode heals himself, swap hard on one teammates finish him before the healer has time to put enough heals on teammate to save him.

If u need to buy some time to finish off the teamate Fear healer, interupt his heal, thunderkick him down, paly stun him anything to buy u another few gcds. Or simply swap hard again to healer. Odds are he is trying to heal his mate so he will again take lots of damage. Thats Pressure.

Ofc the best thing u can do to help that healer is tunneling him for long periods (15+ seconds). that makes his job so easy that he is probably laughing hard at you while spamming a few hots/heals.

For example if i attack Codex alone vs 1 healer + 2 dps:

I stay mounted , dismount on top of that marksman with a leg sweep (save the bull rush for the mages flicker). hit him a few times with sweeping strikes/bladefury/mighty blow putting some pressure on nearby healer or mage. At this moment i am already preparing my switch to kill the real target: healer or mage.

MM runs away starts the kite, i let him go ofc and I focus on burning down the mage with all i got while looking for an opportunity to thunder kick the healer down or simply fear him/interupt his casts. Swap a few times in between Mage/healer if needed while trying to Los the MM which is coming back to try to kill me.

Most of the times, i get the kill on mage and i am in a good position to get the kill on MM or healer. Sure ofc i am wounded, but the element of suprise works in my favor while they are thinking "how th fck did he kill that mage??!!"

Play creatively and dont undersestimate psychology. I mean when a lone warrior is confident and attacks 3 guys and pulls off a few tricks and gets the kill on the first guy, i promiss you the 2 others are realy worried at this point and starts to make a few mistakes, especialy now that warrior "are kinda sucky in the common opinion". Well again i played alot of wow arenas at gladiator level which helps to not have tunnelvision and helps make things happen.

    Tips:

    1) Spec thunderous kick: this ability alone forces you to be creative and to not tunnelvision your target. You ll start to think: "Ok i kill the warrior here, while i kick down that healer of the bridge" Or "Ok 3 guys np, i go sword and board, kick down that NB/RS rogue and use the MM bakc there to charge out of trouble. when i reach MM, i fear and mount away"

    2) Dont charge in with bull rush. mistake nr 1 by most warriors.

Bull rush is your only movement ability. think about that. Stay mounted with sword and board, dismount on top of marskman or mage with LEG SWEEP: they both gonna blink/flciker/whatver the name, bam u still have charge, 3 sec stun and soem more pewpew: suddenly You got the advantage.

And most of all, its just a game, You wont die irl so play like a WARRIOR!!!
