PA weapon dps question

as the title says, i have a PA weapon dps question. using http://rift.magelo.com/en/planar-attunement this website, and putting in all my PA points i have in game, this is what it says i gained.
- Attack Power
Two Handed Sword +11
Two Handed Axe +29
Polearm +11
Hammer +11
Axe +18

- Melee DPS
Two Handed Sword +2.2
Two Handed Axe +5.8
Polearm +2.2
Hammer +2.2
Axe +3.6

One question is, how do i get AP from the weapon master? is it bc the DPS it gives or what, im sorta confused, bc i dont see my AP go up on character sheet.
The main question is the MELEE DPS part. as it shows, i have Two Handed Axe at +5.8, and Axe at +3.6. Are those the two numbers that stack, or is the 2hand mastery+Axe what gives me the 5.8?

Two Handed Axe = 2h Mastery + Axe Mastery.

ok that sounds more like it. but now, does the Axe (1hand), mean 3.6 per axe (1hand), or both combined. If its 3.6 per hand, that would be more weapon dps then the 2hand axe...or is my math wrong?

The +Sword, +Axe, etc are per weapon. Works just like whetstones.

You must have some T2 PAs? or Magelo is bugged because with all +Weapon DPS T1 PAs maxed we get:

Two Handed Axe +6.4
Polearm +6.4
Hammer +6.4
Sword +3.2
Axe +3.2
Mace +3.2

You don't get AP from weapon dps pa levels. The +weapon dps values below are assuming 16/16 for sword and 16/16 for 2h in the first tier only.

if you've got +3.2 weapon dps to swords that value applies to each 1h sword you have or once to your 2h sword. +3.2 weapon dps to 2h weapons applies to all 2h weapons.

So, if you've got two 1h swords equipped you'd get +6.4 weapon dps total (3.2+3.2)

If you've got a 2h sword equipped you'd also get +6.4 weapon dps, 3.2 from 2h and 3.2 from your sword pa levels.

The AP **** is because Magelo doesn't understand how the weapon specialization nodes in PA work at all. They assume for some reason that +1 DPS to sword (for example) is actually +10 AP (because the character sheet in-game says 10 AP = 1 DPS) when that's not how it works at all. As a result, the stats granted window on Magelo is double dipping on the bonuses you recieve, since it says you get the DPS and the AP, when AP is never involved at all (except for Ranged Weapon Mastery obviously).

@Gaylon...yes, i have full death T1, and the 2 of the 4/4s for Axe mastery, and 3/4 (2/4 and 1/4) in the 2hand masteries. I stoped on 2hand bc im mainly tank, and DW for 2 fights. I also started to pick up Axe Masteries in the Water tree, right now 2/4 in first one.

@MiO...i know we dont get the AP, i guess i was just curious as to why the website was saying that, but AlienFromBeyond clarified that i guess.

@Alien...right, the only thing that clearly stats we get AP is the range weapon mastery, which is sorta useless, unless we maxed everything out, but still, 3 or w/e AP we get, is it worth it? prob not. As far as the DPS thing though, the numbers are right, im just ******ed i guess when it comes to the "stacking" thing....but im understanding it now


With all these weapon dps stats here, going from an Axe (Soul Reaper, relic from alsbeth), with all axe masteries/2hands that i have, to lets say, R8 sword...how much of a difference would i see, without having Sword masteries?

49.3 + <your total 2h PA> + <your total axe PA> -VS-
58.2 + <your total 2h PA> + <your total sword PA>
