    1.1 - Introduction:

This is 200-300 DPS increase over 2 button spam on the dummy (much more in raid). It's a tougher rotation than spamming 1 button till you have 3 AP, but in order to maximize DW DPS you should be using this rotation. Make sure to ignore WM procs and hit finishers with 2 AP if you have to. I don't ever advise using this for AOE. I believe 2 RB will give more DPS on a standstill fight so switch to that if you'd like max DW standstill DPS. Just make sure to take out bash/flinching out of your macros and do it manually when you are above 60 power.

    2.1 - Specs:

ZAM Soulbuilder Spec for 7 Riftblade (use this for fights where you often disconnect): http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1c...o.Vex0hAucM.xM

ZAM Soulbuilder Spec for 2 Riftblade (use this for fights where you aren't disconnecting too much): http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1c...ucM.E0czV0bhzz

    2.2 - Macros:

    AP Builder:

    #show dual strike
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast dual strike
    cast frenzied strike
    cast path of the wind
    cast flamespear (6 RB only)

    Follow Up:

    #show Path of the raptor
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast path of the raptor
    cast path of the hurricane

    Finisher:

    #show strike like iron
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast strike like iron
    cast fiery burst
    cast frenzied strike

    AOE:

    #show mighty blow
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast mighty blow
cast frenzied strike (6 RB only)

    AOE Follow Up:

Path of the Hurricane as a skill (not a macro)

    AOE Finisher (2 RB only):

    #show Bladefury
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Proper Timing
    cast Bladefury

    2.3 - Skill Explanations:

Dual Strike (DS) - Your Attack Point builder. No Cooldown.
Path of the Raptor (POTR) - Your hardest hitting follow up. 4 Second Cooldown.
Path of the Hurricane (POTH) - Your second follow up. 6 Second Cooldown.
Fiery Burst (FB) - A fire damage tick. Does the most DPS out of all the Finishers. No Cooldown.
Mighty Blow (MB) - Your AOE Attack Point builder. No Cooldown.

    2.4 - Toggle Buffs:

Way of the Wind (WOTW) - Equal or Lower to WOTM at lower gear levels
Way of the Mountain (WOTM) - Same DPS on dummy as WoTW with high gear level and scales better.
Slayer's Bearing (SB) - A 25% damage bonus to critical attacks.
Storm Blade (SB) - A ticking damage bleed.

3.1 - Full Rotation Cycle (Single Target):

(You've just hit SLI with 2 or 3 AP - it doesn't matter)

AP Builder (DS) -> Follow Up (POTR) -> Finisher (Fiery - doesn't matter if 2 AP)
AP Builder (DS) -> Follow Up (POTH) -> AP Builder (DS) -> Follow Up (POTR) -> Finisher (Fiery - doesn't matter if 2 AP)
AP Builder (DS) -> Follow Up (POTH) -> Finisher (Hit another DS after this if you aren't at 3 AP)

3.2 - Rotation Explanation (Single Target):

Ignore all WM procs. It's okay if you do 2 point FBs or 2 point SLIs. This rotation maximizes your follow up damage. Make sure to hit SLI right as DS is about to come off cooldown so you have as much time as possible.

Messed around with it for a bit, 38 2H should still do more damage.

2h > DW. This is the highest parsing DW build (I think) though.

I was parsing about 1350 with Fervour (No interupts). 45-50% crit on DS/POTH/POTR.

    I have 2 34 1 handers.

The timing is REALLY tight on this and unless its done perfectly you will see some drop off from SLI.

Not really. I usually get plenty of time to do it. A good tip is to hit SLI right as DS is about to come off global cooldown... Give you 1-2 seconds more.

Im also parsing around 1300-50 with this, with 2, 34 DPS 1hers. The build is most deffinetly best DW build out their if done correctly, gives people an alternate i guess.

    Question:

    - shouldn't 38/26/2 give more damage if you manage to keep enough power with raid buffs and tablets?

With 26 point in champion you get:

    - 4 more point to benefit from Weapon Specialization
    - full (3/3) Intense Training compared to 2/3 in 38/22/6

Only thing is that 38/26/2 is awfully power starving build but if you manage to keep enough power with buffs it should I suppose give more DPS due to above.

The main point of DW is to have a steady amount of ranged DPS. I believe 2 RB will parse higher, but you won't be able to do as much ranged DPS. I've added that in the OP. Just make sure to use Bash/Flinching on a seperate key when you are above 60 power.

The blade fury macro can only be used on the 2 rb build since bladefury is 26 into champ.

Thanks Val for posting. I have using dw this way for a while. I will dig up parses comparing both 2 button spam and this ..... but im hitting 175-300 more dps in a raid. It is tight but not bad. Also I use 2 hk one-handers.

On another note, your op needs to edit the aoe portion. You have 6rb with proper timing etc. I think you mean the 2rb version.

+1 for posting this thread. I said this a long time ago but it was either ignored or forgotten by now.

Maybe people will use this now
