    Is that with 1 charge?

    I haven't played sab in forever but just for sake of argument would the damage add up if you count +6 or +7 damage per charge? (+4 *1.5 for crit plus possible crit bonus talents)

    Sab seems like an odd class to try this with due to all of the different factors.

    Actually.. if you are stacking 5 charges, plus detonate that means +6damage *6 abilities for 5 charges and the finisher so +36 damage total for fine whetstones. Is it possible the +36 is being applied to every charge in the case of sab due to the way all hits go off at once?

    Lol, time to go DW. 2 Hands were only leading by 50-100... When they fix Deadly Strikes and this Whetstone Bug Paragon will top DPS at equal gear level.

    I wouldn't bet on Deadly Strikes being fixed any time soon.

    See, I agree and disagree with this post. You still need a 2h BM in every single raid. On top of that, I've parsed 1600ish~ self buffed + ferver with a 2h, a build posted in my guide thread. simply 15 champion, but I allocate the points to get the most out of champ which I haven't really seen people do yet. Does it outparse my DW build? not yet, on dummies, but it is pretty damn close to it. (within 30-40 dps). at that point it's really the skill of the player, and not so much a build, that will squeeze the most dps out of a build.

    Trion, I appreciate the quick turnaround on fixing this. I remember when paragon got accidentally super buffed and you guys had a hotfix out within what, 4-5 hours to reverse it and nerf it at the same time. I'm glad you understand the need to fix these things in a timely manner.

    Oh wait, I raid in 2 hours and it's not fixed. Maybe you guys intentionally nerfed all the 1h warriors one more time for good measure. You know, just for the half birthday ********. Cryin rogues and the like would be happy to come back for their free play time and find warriors down a few hundred dps, doing less damage in raids and warfronts. Might get a few resubs out of it eh?

    Or maybe this is an intended pvp ninja nerf that slipped into pve. We all know how well you guys are keeping those pvp class changes from affecting pve..

    Anyway I'm buying a 2h with favor when I get home. I'll need you guys to go ahead and reimburse my favor Monday when you get around to fixing DW.

    So are deeper champ builds viable now? Does it make the past 30 bonus multiplicative as well?

    Well raided tonight. I've gone up ~120 AP since my last raid (R8 4pc) so my hits should be harder, yet all my abilities hit for 200-300 dmg less than they did last week.

    So stones aren't working ><

    Confirmed for rogues. Spikex5 (for accuracy, divide by 5) charge crit without whetstone = 1212.
    With whetstone: 1255.

    Difference of 43/5 = 8.6
    1.5 Crit bonus + 0.2 Crit bonus from sin tree = 8.6/1.7 = 5.06 damage per charge increased for a singe 5dps whetstone.

    The .06 can easily be accounted for by a damage talent/trion tweak somewhere down the line of balance.

    Even if I'm losing only 100dps (wonder how much dps it is actually losing) this explains to me why my dps has gone up MUCH less than I thought since getting the synergy crystals and 45dps MH weapon; whetstone and spotter's order nerf aside.

    Just made a test. The numbers are indicative. No matter how high they are. Just want to show that stones work:

    Searing Strike (non Enhanced Burst/Freeze Armor/Frost Strike enhanced) no exquisite whetstone: 885 critical damage

    Searing Strike (non Enhanced Burst/Freeze Armor/Frost Strike enhanced) with exquisite whetstone: 1023 critical damage.

    Seems to work for me....I think the problem you are looking for lays somewhere else.

    stones arent just "working" for some people unless they actually broke them on specific clusters, which may be the case.

    they give us no damage bonus whatsoever on seastone server. numerous people have tested it at this point.
