Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but NB isnt really viable in pvp(if thats what the rotation is for) till 26, and even then, you really need to be 32 to overwhelm healers, otherwise you'll just get tanked. As for the openers, its all situational.

malady, spam the assy combo builder, blazing, repeat.

with the synergies from nb + the crit talents from assy...u just basically spam one key and keep critting + ur finisher.

Hit the poison dmg finisher if the fight is gonna be a long one just for the lil dmg + it still works with your heat retention since it does water dmg.

Oh, in that case, your dps is low till 26, then you get SoD, but, for pve, after dark malady, use twilight force, and fiery spike till your @ 5 cp, hit em with the close range finisher, dusk strike, primal strike a couple times, then another finisher. If the mob isnt dead, just beat it down a couple times. Just remember, that nb is a stealthy class, and is probably one of the best for questing with its incapacitating.

Not sure why you brought up PvP as most rotations don't fit well in there.

    As for PvE.

    Open with Dark Malady
    Dusk Strike
    Twilight Force
Blazing Strike (or once you have it Scourge of Darkness)
Primal x2-5 (depending on what level and cooldowns)
    Dusk or Dusk/Twilight
    Blazing/Scourge

    Lather, rinse, repeat.

For high burst you would do

    Dark Malady
    Dusk Strike
    Twilight Force
Blazing Strike (or Scourge if you have it)
    Ebon Fury
    Dusk Strike
    Dusk Strike
    Twilight Force
    Blazing Strike
    Dusk Strike
    Dusk Strike
    Twilight Force
Blazing Strike (or Scourge if you have it)
(then probably 2-5 primal depending if you have cooldown reduction on Twilight/Dusk, finish with Scourge of Darkness again)

If you can manage another set of that do so, then return to normal rotation.

If you have it I'd say add Dusk till Dawn after the initial set.

Just speculation till I get a bit higher level to play with it all more.

Because he never mentioned pve/pvp, and thought he might be looking for some super secret DPS combo.

Is it worth it to keep the fire DoT up? With the talent you'd only need to apply it once, then it'd stay up every finisher. Is it still too low damage to be worth the GCDs?

I found this thread to be extremely useful:

    http://forums.riftgame.com/showthrea...e-Guide-(Beta7)

Someone in my group last night was running a parser and linking the DPS frequently, and I found that keeping up the flaming dot was important on bosses, but wasn't noticable otherwise (like, if the mob isn't going to last at least 20 or 30 seconds, I wouldn't bother). Just toss a few fiery spikes out instead of primal strikes, and let blazing refresh it the rest of the fight. The one time it fell off and I tried to put it back up I messed up my rotation, so your mileage may vary.

Untalented Savage Strike is in fact inferior to Primal Strike. Do you even read ability descriptions? :)
