Default Attack Power / Melee Attack Power

I apologize if this has been discussed before, I searched for this question and couldn't find an answer for it.

This is a question mainly regarding Rangers and Marksman. Does anyone know if there is a difference between Attack Power and Melee Attack Power, or are they same thing? I realize the obvious answer would be yes there is a difference, the only reason I ask is because when looking at your stats there is only one listing. This would also apply to +Crit and +Melee Crit, and the wording for those.

Here are a couple of Telarapedia articles outlining their specific details:

That info may be old as I see you're referencing what I believe is a specific stat found on items.

I am not 100% sure. I do believe crit applies accross the board. +crit is for melee and ranged.

I have a sneaking suspicion it's the same for AP. Trion has made the player facing stats as simplistic as possible for us which is nice but I am a number cruncher and enjoy playing with the equations.

I'd just do a test on a good sized pool of mobs. Change out your AP to see what you get for results.
