    Question Maim???

Anyone try using Maim as main combo builder? The damage seems good, has a snare, and is only 20 energy. Just trying to figure a way to work it into an Assassin or Nightblade build.

    P.S.

Can anyone shed some light on Blazing Strike v Final Blow for a finisher? Seems to me that a talented Blazing Strike should hit harder than Final Blow. Just looking for some input.

Bueller? Anyone? With all the talk of energy problems its would seem like a no-brainer to go for this. And with the built in snare it definitely looks like a winner for PvP. And the damage (at least on paper) looks comparable to the rest of the combo builders

Perhaps you could provide a bit more context?

Is there a reason to keep spamming Maim on an already-snared target if it does even 1 point less damage than another combo-builder? Do you have to choose between buffing Maim and buffing other combo-builders, or do you automatically buff other combo builders with the same spec points you spend buffing Maim?

What are the other combo builders you're putting it up against?

Also might want to link to them on Zam - here's Maim:

    I'm thinking something like http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...toboddo.VV0Vzo

The reason to keep using Maim is the lower energy cost. And not having to worry about re-applying the snare. Just one less thing to worry about. Mind you this is mostly for PvP purposes.

Maims the enemy, dealing weapon plus 82 to 85 Physical damage. The enemy's movement speed is reduced by 50% for 10 seconds.

Doesn't say it grants a Combo Point. Can anyone confirm if it does or not?
