    Default Saboteur charges are "poisen" ?

    I read it somewhere, but i want confirment regarding this if possible!
    Reason i ask, is because im planning on making a Sabo, but still twisting what to take as 2nd and 3rd spec. Basicly i want to gain as much DPS as i can get.

    Thanks in advance!

    Edit;
    And why does everyone talk so much about POISEN Malice?

    Edit2;
    And are SABO damage skills MELEE WEAPON based or RANGED WEAPON based?
    This is something i cant really figure out either.

    They are poison type, yes. This means the sin skill poison potency works for them. It also means more classes can cleanse off the charges.

    I wouldn't think so, if I remember correct my chloromancer's cleanse could clear poison effects but did not remove charges, so I assume if they didn't get the down side of being a poison effect it wouldn't get the benefits of it, at least it shouldn't imo.

    They are considered poisons now and can be cleansed.

    the charge debuff is 100% a poison. the charge itself doesn't do poison damage. they will do whatever type of damage the tooltip says, be it physical, earth, whatever. this change was made in beta 6. in the same patch notes, it was said that talents and abilities that increase poison damage would now work on charges. being that poison potency is the only one i can think of atm, that is what was meant by that statement.

    did you try cleansing charges on your chloro pre beta 6? if it was after, then i would have reported that as a bug, as nature's cleansing should remove charges.

    Like bard's skills it is whichever you have equipped at the time of using the skill (i.e. whatever is out at the time, so if your bow/gun is showing at the time then weapon damage will be calculated off that)

    1. The term poison means an element the sab uses, what it is at the moment, I'm too drunk to remember but its there. Assassin is water 'poison'.

    2. All the sab skills are ranged + base. Both weapon slots add to base + stat. If you attack with only a melee weapon at range it takes its base stat. If I remember correctly... Which I probably don't... It's all from your base stats compiled regardless.
