Was that by me? I'm redoing a spec. Gimme a sec. I would use this. It is hard to decide if it'd be better to just put the 20 points into infiltrator, as there's some useless skill in assasin that you have to get now after the nerf.

Sab/MM has it's strong points. You get the 70% run speed/CC break/CC immunity, a 2nd root (if you use Sab root trap) and access to deadeye shot.

Who told you Sab/MM combo is bad?

    Here's you a beginners build:

Although myself I wouldn't put more than 27 points into sabs anymore, Nightblade is the most stable sub-soul for Sabs, and Ranger helps you with PvE & Gives 5% crit + a snare for the price of 6 points. Stacking NB & Ranger snares keeps your enemies in bay.
    Play to Crush.

Oh, isn't this a pvp build? If it's for pve then anything is viable.

Sab/MM is pretty sub-par in PvE. The MM abilities don't boost charge dps hardly at all and you don't need fifteen different kiting tools to deal with mobs.
