    Default Sabo question

    Does Blazing Fury in Nightblade tree apply to your charges damage when it detonates? Or does it only apply to the abilities that do damage as they stack? Also are our charges/bombs etc. considered melee/ranged weapons or are they in a class of their own??

    Blazing Fury works on charges. The various weapon buff abilities do not.

    Charges are considered either Physical or Earth damage (depending on the charge type) that gets increased by your melee weapon.

    To give you an example: the Marksman skill that increases ranged damage will not work with charges, neither will the 50% autoattack damage from Bladedancer. The 4% increase in physical damage from the Assassin tree WILL work on the other hand.

    hence it seems the best burst dps you can get for a main sab is have a sab/sin/nb..
    benefits: constant steath + crits + overall dmg increase

    Coup De Grace: Increases the damage of your Finishers by 15%. in NB tree works on detonate???

    Yes, although do keep in mind that Detonate isn't your primary damage source.

    Because 5 charges > Detonate damage? Detonate is just used for setting off charges.

    If the leaked patch notes are correct then charges are melee attacks.

    I wouldn't call it useless, but it doesn't add that much. Getting Instable State 3/3 (9% non-physical damage increase) might be a better option. This will increase the damage on: Embers Charge, Calthrop Charge, Splinter Charge, Annihilation Bomb, Landmines... and probably more.

    Here is my thought...if charges count as melee attacks then i might go with this build

    Alot of damage can get put out as well as a little survivability plus stealth/sap is always nice
