    Default MM/Ranger PvP Specc

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...00c.Ehtoq0Auzo

I do not want to spend any points in riftstalker since I just choosed it for the free level 0 teleport, I also decided not to take opportunity on the ranger tree since it feels like it's rather useless in PvP and more viable in PvE.

Any suggestions to improve it etc?

Yeah, here's a suggestion, drop ranger. Pet is weaksauce for PvP and all those spells are duplicate. You're better of getting more riftstalker with sab for aoe snare/15% dext or getting bard. See the build in my post: http://forums.riftgame.com/showthrea...lker-PvP-Build I'm #1 healing and #1 damage every warfront.

Yeah, but no. I am not really a fan of bard. Thanks anyways.

Why ask for advice then. You seem to know it all already.

Keep in mind that u are using just 2 souls.
1- u can take out some points from Ranger and choose assassin or nb our sab for passive bonus

2- it's a lvl 50 build, if u are focusing on pvp, the Pvp soul is something that can be usefull, so again u can take out some points from ranger for the pvp soul

When I first started beta testing I was Marksman/Ranger/Sab and I did have fun with it but I am not a pet fan and I didnt do so well in PvP. After doing the quests to gain my others souls I have switched to Marksman/Assassin/NB and wow what a difference. I no longer rely on the pet in PVE and in PVP I am doing much better... love being able to use poisons with my ranged abilities.

IMO pet sux for pvp, do make it do a nice dmg u have to invest a lot of points .. max lvl, more dmg etc

it's better to get a soul like sin, and have some enhancments for ur own skills

When it comes to the Ranger pets, my opinion for PvP is; it's all or nothing. If you are going to use a pet in PvP, beef it and build around it. If you want to focus on killing people with your bow, leave the pet at home.

I took your spec and just tweaked it a bit. With these changes:

-you lose the pet for PvP but you should be focusing on shooting people in the face, not worrying about where your wolf is.

-Your regualr shots AND finishers both get a pretty big boost in damage.

-You lose the little teleport, but as a Marksman you are mobile enough AND that teleport has a pretty long cooldown.

    -You gain stealth

-You get a RANGED incapacitate while stealthed

Anyhoo...to each his own. Hope it gets the wheels turnin'

If you really want a pet in PvP, I like this build

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M....E0toqz0udo.0M

Great Dire Wolf gives your target a debuff to healing received. You'll always have a debuff on them, meaning your pet does 15% more damage. Your first finisher is Head Shot, which gives you and your pet 5% damage bonus for a full minute. After that it's deadeye
