## Bard question

In a Vacuum would you get more HPS using 1 cadence or 2 to build points for Coda of Restoration?

Cadence heals for 50x3 3 Points

CoR for 400

Power Chord 2 points

3x Cadence + 2x Cadence + CoR = 650 over 6 seconds

3x Cadence + Power Chord + CoR = 550 over 5 seconds.

Power Chord edges out. 110 vs 108.333

3x cadence + Power Chord is also better for energy.

Also

All motifs -> 3x Cadence + Power Cord -> Virtuoso -> 15x CoR -> Riff -> CoR is so, SO sexy.

I'll go pull actual numbers soon.

Edit; Also assuming no crits.Last edited by Koe; 02-16-2011 at 08:39 PM.

Yeah that makes sense Ive only been playing the bard for like 2 hours and I forgot I didnt get power chord. My initial thought was I didnt want to waste a GCD not healing but I guess it isnt really that big of a deal if its actually a higher HPS.

All I have been doing is either 1 or 2 Cadences and a CoR.

I have been doing all of the motifs and Riff when it was up, but it was kind of boring. Great heals though and I am not even high enough to get virtuoso yet. I guess Ill go spec power chord.

Cadence: 80

120 Crits

CoR: 476

5x Cadence + CoR = 876 over 5 seconds = 175.2 hps

3x Cadence + Power Chord + CoR = 716 over 4 seconds = 179 hps

Assuming 10% crit

5x Cadence + CoR = 896 = 179.2 hps

3x Cadence + Power Chord + CoR = 728 = 182 hps

Assuming 33% Crit

5x = 941 over 5 seconds = 188.2 hps

3x = 755 over 4 seconds = 188.75 hps

Assuming 50% Crit rate

5x Cadence + CoR = 976 over 5 Seconds = 195.2 hps

3x Cadence + Power Chord + CoR = 776 over 4 = 194 hps

More crit = Cadence is better HPS. Needs a lot of crit, though.Last edited by Koe; 02-16-2011 at 09:30 PM.
