    Default 33/15/17 +1 MM Build

Want to do marksman PvE DPS. Is a ranger sub-soul needed? Don't want to deal with pet. Is this build viable? Any glaring problems?

Sniper training and sharp shooter can be removed...6 points saved

If you're dealing with normal mobs I think a pet would help. For dungeons, I don't see a problem with that build.

Thanks for looking. Are hit and, forgive me for calling it this, expertise not useful in Rift?

They're useful but not worth the points and the minuscule 3% increase.

I did not invest in those points and I didn't really have a whole lot of trouble missing.

The only one that had a noticeable frequency of failing was deadeye shot, at about 75% or so?

I would spend one on Close Quarters combat, Static shot and the rest in Keen's eye.

You will put them back the moment you step into a raid and the boss is a higher lvl then you

I haven't noticed anything different from the boss in terms of accuracy/dodge.

And chances are, if you are facing a boss way above your level, you're going to die anyway.

Poisons proc on ranged attacks. Pretty sure Hellfire Blades requires a melee attack to proc but I am not positive on that
