Haven't tried it out but I was looking at something like this:

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...tRGqgRss.0VMcx

I wasted a few points getting the 51 point NB ability, but I'm not sure where I'd put them besides maybe attack power bonus of Tier 1 Riftstalker build. I went with Ranger for free pet (forget dps) and ranged physical abilities just in case of elemental resistants later.

The other build would be something like:

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...gMso.0VMcx0b.V

Which, depending on the 51 point ability's strength, will most likely be a better sustained PVE dps build.

this is the build i have been testing and i find it very good for high end pve http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...RhqgMos.VV0V0o

for leveling just take the dodge instead of the hit you wont need the ranger soul because you have enough range attacks and you wont need the pet becasue you have enough survivability

These builds bring up an interesting question which may have been answered elsewhere but these forums are a nightmare of QQing thread clutter.

So many trees for rogues have 5/5 +15% dex or 5/5 +15% attack power. My thought is that 15% attack power is better as strength also adds attack power and attack power is the final product of dex and str as well as there are attack power only buffs. I guess one could argue that the bonus to dex only would increase crit and dodge, but I'm not sure it's not in any quantity great enough to bother with, especially as all our weapons seem to have +str on them as well.

it would be a good thing to get one of the mathmaticaly inclned to test out like you said the dex gives a bonus to crit, ap, and dodge while the ap gets use from both str and dex but either way both work out as good fillers

I can't stress enough how helpful a teleport (Blink) type spell is in raiding, which is why i chose RS for the third. Assassin gives the crit, and extra bleed, along with the phys crit poison. And of course a full nightstalker tree. Idk how aoe heavy raids are gonna be, but it really is a pain in the *** to raid without any aoe capabilities, or those not up to par with others.

shadow shift isnt all that useful as a nightblade since you have many ranged attacks to choose from and if you ever find yourself out of melee range of a boss you should be using those. i guess it would be more helpful if it actualy teleported you to the boss but a flat 15 ft forward if there is nothing in your path not so much

2, 2m invuls, and a blink, means turning boss mechanics into jello.
