    Default Possible PvP Rogue builds?

    I was trying to find out what the better PvP builds would be for a rogue, and if able would it be possible to be a good close combat with ranged as well or would it be better to only be a close combat rogue?

    I was looking for the same thing and looked for some tree builders to fiddle around with. What ive come up with atm is;

    Marksman32/Riftstalker13/Assassin28 i think it was. But that could be going off a out dated builder.

    Mosly plan to use his range abilitys but he has some pretty good melee abilitys when things get to close. The little i put in Riftstalker was the get his 15 meter teleport and for his healing from when players/monsters die i get a heal depending on howmany bubbles are left on them. And the assassin boosts the dmg nicely for the Marksman and has a perma stealth at higher spec so that was nice to get for pvping/pveing when i need to get around something.

    Mixing melee and ranged is not efficient so I don't suggest having a 32/32 distribution.

    The only reasonable combination is DPS/Tank or DPS/support

    Pair any DPS soul with the Riftstalker and you'll tank like a boss. Pair with a support and you'll get some durability and some attack buffs.

    I highly suggest you invest 32/32 in DPS/Tank, though.

    I was hoping it would be possible to go with a ranger but as I saw someone point out, as of right now the highest lvl that a pet can go is only 30 which you would have to be lvl 24 and spend 24 points for.

    I havent been on the beta or anything yet so i dont really know to much about the classes yet, but wouldnt considering a rogue over a warrior as a tank the wrong kind of way to think with spec'ing rogues?

    Sab and Nightblade provide plenty of range for your needs.

    The Riftstalker is a rogue class that tanks.

    A tank not only can maintain aggro (which we don't need) but can take a lot of damage before failing (what we need)- that's exactly what you need with rogues who wear leather.

    It does not make sense to have a marksman paired with a ranger, for example. Your DPS does not improve significantly (only from investing in passives). The additional abilities do not help you at all since there are more abilities than the CD can cover.

    If you pair your DPS class with the durability of a tank, you're pretty hard to bring down.

    Yeah i was reading the class information and even tho it goes so far to make that a option i myself couldnt see specing in to it for that reason. I do like most of the abilitys it has but wouldnt use it in that way. I was thinking that a Riftstalker/assassin would work off eachother pretty good just looking at the 1 riftstalker ability to get right behind someone then Backstab them.

    Umm is that Infiltraitor class real? lol

    Infiltrator is a PvP soul and operates differently.

    You can only invest up to 21 points into it, and you can only get skills if you have the pre-requisites. Also, in order to unlock the skills you need the right prestige level.
