    Lightbulb Rogue, my all purpose specs for the rest of my career, CRITICIZE!

    Ok so I've taken a little time since the end of beta 6 to figure out what specs I will be playing for:
    Ranged, Melee, and Tanking as a Rogue {possibly healing as well?}

    Ranged= http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1M....0VMftcbqz0o.m
    Melee= http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1M...zo.VG0uzmr.V0b
    Tanking= http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...Gt0zocoz.xIzoV

    (I'm still a bit fuzzy on if rogues will be able to effectively heal instances as a bard and if anyone has experience doing this I'd love to see a build for it, thanks.)

    A little about my current builds...

    The ranged build is designed to be a "do-it-yourselfer" type of leveling/soloing/pvp hybrid.

    The melee build is designed to be a "I dont want to rely on healers in warfronts" type of survivability/dps/gank build for pvping. (I'd like some advice on a full out nuking spec for melee with maybe subbing riftstalker for nightblade in that sense)

    The tanking build is designed to be a "HEHE U CANT HIT ME" type of tanking/extreme aoe threat/self buffing/absorption style.

    DISCLAIMER: Any posts in this thread about a calling (warrior/cleric/mage/rogue) having specific roles or being better at specific roles than any other calling should be completely disregarded (there are too many of those already), it has been disputed over and over and it always comes down to the fact they are just four different play-styles. rogues get a bar and combo points as their style and that's what I dig, you may dig your calling for its specific pool that your abilities are based off of.

    It is next to impossible to "main" heal as a Bard but depending on your group makeup and how well you all work together you can do a fine job of handling most of the duties. Boss fights will usually require one main healer while you do mostly support.

    My guild has two mages that spec Chloro with their other souls so when we do dungeons I do most of the healing while they just spot heal any real spike damage and help in boss fights. We will never be the only healer but we can handle a lot of the trash work just fine.
