Default Nightblade/Marksman make my Sab TASTIER

Level 50 build for max damage, with survivability

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1M...00o.VmMbEz0koM

Start out hitting from range with swift shot, get some run speed which is always useful.
    Get into range, attach charges
    Blow people up- pretty simple

    Key features-

    Sab burst damage augmented by:
-blazing fury- +15% dmg to combat-point generating moves (swift shot, charges)
-coup de grace- increases finisher dmg by 15% (Hasted shot, detonate)
-fire and death attunment- 3% dmg boost (+15% fire/death defense)
-Unstable state- 9% extra non-physical damage (3 charges are non-physical, along w/ annihilation bomb)
-increased fire power- gives 25% bonus to attack power for 10s after a crit, when this procs, start stacking charges
-melted skin- when hellfire blades procs, you do 5% extra damage for 15s
-dark malady- stealth attack that causes the enemy to take 20% extra damage for 8s
-TWO weapon enchanments- cant hurt to do extra dmg when using the bow

    CC/Anti-CC moves
-Speed increase w/ swift shot, hasted shot, hasty departure
-On the double- breaks CC and increases speed by 70%
-Static shot- root the enemy for more charge placement
-dark containment- incaps enemy for 15s (*can be used in combat*)
    -lost hope- incaps for 30s
-twilight force- slows enemy to 50% for 6s
-twilight shelter- reduces damage taken by 80% for 8s

and LOL @ incriminate for same faction griefing, always a riot!

Anyway, I like a lot of assassin skills, love crit buffs, but marksman with speed and anti CC is just too good.

Additional note: I believe sab will get nerfed, pretty soon. But so will a lot of classes, such seems the cycle of MMOs. I'm not gonna QQ when the nerf hits, because I've already accepted it. Better to get it out of the way early...

I think riftstalker is better than marksman, you gain too much defense/offense to pass up with guardian phase (tons and tons of defense!!), stalker phase(15% more damage after shifting), and 15% critical rate whenever you shift. You also get Rift Guard which is usable right after detonating 5 charges with annihilation bomb.

This does seem pretty good, though I think it changes the focus a bit. It also depends on how 15% AP affects damage vs. NB skills such as 15% to combo point generating ablilites, and other things.
So just to clarify, annih bomb will detonate charges but leave combo points up? (I know this is a noob question lol.)

I love runspeed, my defense is being faster than most people and being able to stay mostly out of range.

Err, sorry I had a point in the wrong spot. Revised: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...00kzkz.E00sz0c

Annihilation bomb does allow you to detonate the blast charges and spike charges while keeping combo points on the target.

on the double - blind, good luck, now I'm on your *** and there's nothing you can do about it. Doubt poor sabos can do more DPS then a nightblade with ebon fury. ;)

Ok.. what would you take out to put these point in?

I think landmines in pretty cool, but I am generally trying to stay out of melee range, though I understand they will help if someone runs up on me.

Some questions about them- will all 4 quickly blow up on 1 target?
Are they spaced far enough apart so you'd have to train someone through them?
Or is there perhaps a time limit? Like, an enemy will only be able to be hit by 1 every 3 secs or something?

Also, does Blind break on damage, or is it esentially an 8sec stun?

    Thanks for any info.

tbh marksman soul is a waste for saboteurs.... increased fire power works only after a critical ( you waste some time trying a critical before the charges and your build have a low critical rate), roots never work in groups and on the double isn't that great, a lot of classes have a charge, blink and can snare you after the 5s.
Imo the sin passives are by far better than marksman for a saboteur, and with the passive that increase the range and reduce the CD of sab's bombs your adhesive bomb have 10s of CD and you snare the target for 8s, almosr a perma snare from 30m range. You start the snares from 30m range and if the enemy get close you still have a 4s stun and a 10s blind.

You might want to test this next beta otherwise you've got 3 wasted points. Overall though it's a pretty good build. Although I agree that Sin would compliment Sabo a little better than Marksman. Still, sounds like a fun build with some great anti-cc and running abilities.

Hey I appreciate the positive feedback. I do need to make sure to test Unstable state to make sure it gives a damage boost and the points arent wasted. Thanks for the heads up.

Dark Mallody is a stealth melee range opener? If so you must start in melee to use it. If not, looks good
