Default Solo play PvE Ranger build

i'm trying to come up with a Ranger build (with a bow) for testing in beta 6, never tried the rogue class before on rift, so would like some comments on the build below:

The whole point of the ranger class is to have a buffed pet. If you're looking to do mostly solo play then you're going to need to invest more points in Ranger and less points in other souls. I'd look at this build and see what you think. This takes the first few points of 2 souls that offer the biggest buff to Ranger and spreads the rest through the Ranger soul so you can get the Blood Raptor:

It also leaves a few points free. I'd consider the pet HP increase or Improved Headshot.

Haven't played ranger yet, but for necro, another pet dependent class, the instant pet call is vital. Hasten Call.

For solo play, Blood Raptor will be worthless. If you want to play a solo ranger, make a Marksman. Blood Raptor (and the ranger tree in general) is for groups and PVP.

For Beta 5 I was using this build to level and will continue to use it to level in Beta 6. http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...dgzc.0VMcx0b.h
rest of the points in marskmen after we can get beyond level 25. This build has enough to get the 3% crit aspect +5% crit +5% crit +5% crit poison and gets a lot of good ranger abilities. IMO you have to go pretty deep to solo with ranger and marksmen ranger have too much overlap so its best to level assassin first after ranger.

For PvE Dps in a group setting, I'm using:
