    Default SPE healing spec?

Which spec is best for healing experts as a fresh 70? I see some guides for 61 phys and various phystact hybrids but it's not clear what is best at this point starting out with a fresh 70. I haven't really played my rogue since late in SL (aside from leveling) so I don't have much experience with the current healing specs.

i really doubt the tank will stay alive. i'd suggest this

or eventually 61 physician for the heaviest moments

Even with 61 tact its very easy to keep a tank alive (you could basically alt tab, watch a 30minute episode, tab back in and the tank still wont die), there is little to no challenge in healing an SPE even with a low HP tank

You can also do it as a bard (its fun), as you said 61 phys is great for tank healing, even phystact would get the job done

tl;dr it doesnt matter what healing spec you use healing an SPE is easy

Just get the tanks to heal themselves. Play a DPS spec instead.

This. Healers aren't really required anymore.

I've been relearning tact using your guide and doing some wfs the past couple days (haven't had much time to play since Thursday) so I guess I'll give it a go in an expert when I get home later today.

It appears that you are saying that Tact is the best healer. Is Tact better than Phys?
I really like Bard just because I like their appearance. Are they as good as other healers?

For now yes, for big groups. most heals of tact are x2.5 bcs of legendary (PTS had already down it to x1 weeks ago) + it is for 10 ppl.

Personaly me likes old from NTE tact + phys for small groups / main heal and old from NTE tact + bard for raid groups and pvp. Full tact is easy to die once targeted.
If you do pvp a lot you may want to try phys + bard. It has 2 AOE cleanses and bard's ticks 3 times. That what u need in pvp currently.
