    Default 2handers for rogues

    could just visually be a pair of one handed weapons, but stat wise it would be equivalent to that of a two hand weapon and take up both slots. this would make it much easier to itemize for rogues giving us the luxury that other classes have since we are currently the only class in the game that even requires more than 1 slot for more than just a stat stick.

    thoughts?

    I would love this, but you'd have to make changes to Bladedancer to make it work.

    I'd love to see double-bladed swords, though, no matter how unrealistic they are.

    Itemizations can be easily fixed with Token system. You just have to convince Josh York or whoever is creating the loot tables and items for new content.

    I like wickede's suggestion. Would requires some engineering effort to handle it on the item slot as well as back lookups, but would prevent the animators from having to come up with all the new animations, as well as save Vladd from having to double over the whole class to fix up all the skills to scale properly between a one hander and a two hander.

    For clarity sake, I'll repeat my interpretation of wickede's idea:

    Give rogues a "two handed" weapon, which is actually a fixed pair of one-hand weapons. Functionally, it would be the same as having two identical one-handed weapons equipped.

    Doing this could help solve one major disadvantage rogues have compared to the other classes when trying to gear up and get the hit they need.
