    Default Upcoming Rogue Changes - 3.1 and beyond

    Recreating this thread since the other was getting a bit unwieldy. Below are the changes that went live with 3.1 today. Enjoy!

    MASTERIES
    * Ascended Biology:
    - Now increases the range of your damaging non-melee abilities by 5m. Does not stack with Keen Eye.
    - No longer increase the range of Codas.
    * Boundless Energy: Now only increases the stack of Silver Tip Munitions by 1 instead of 2.

    ASSASSIN
    * When unequipping the older Assassin Synergy crystals that buff poison damage, they will remove all poison buffs.

    BARD
    * All Codas: Now have a 35m base range.
    * Chord of Inspiration: No longer adds healing but adds an absorb shield equal to 3/6/9% of attack power. Number of affected party or raid members increased to 10.
    * Improved Motif of Regeneration: Now Karine's Requiem. Increases damage done by Coda of Wrath and Coda of Fury by 30% while the target is under 30% health.
    * Invigorated Soul: Now targets 10 party or raid members instead of 5.
    * Motif of Regeneration: Now affects all party or raid members by default.

    MARKSMAN
    * See the stickied 3.1 Marksman thread.

    NIGHTBLADE
    * Enhanced Weapon Enchantments: Now 20% per talent point, down from 30%.
    * Heat Retention:
    - Now 1/2/3% per talent point invested per stack of Heat Retention.
    - Now has a 100% chance to apply on a combo point generating damaging ability being used.
    - Internal Heat no longer removes stacks of Heat Retention, and is 10/20/30% bonus damage to finishers per talent point invested.
    * Living Flame: Increased range to 10m, up from 5m.

    RANGER
    * Fleeting Instincts: Now persists through death.
    * Keen Eye: No longer increases the range of Codas.

    Love the Marksman changes btw.
    Planar Breach Support Open World PVP and PVE!
    Sourcewell and PVP Rift Objective Based PVP A more resource efficient way of adding Open World Objective based PVP!
    Ember Isle Open World Style PVP Repurposing Lets do something with this amazing zone!

    Are there any changes or reworks for Tactician coming? This pay to play soul have been nearly useless for almost 2 years now. It have like 3-5 abilities which are used by 2 situational hybrids, but other than that it's super boring and weak.

    I have yet to have any fun or joy from using Ablative Coil, Healing Torrent or all these beams which break so easily. The spec is very clunky, most of the engines and even cores are useless even in PvP (due to all these pvp reductions). Tactician doesnt even get single hard CC. Either make the spec unique and fun or give us copy of Defiler or Dominator, since every calling is suppose to do every role. Isn't that the reason why Clerics got better version of Bard a while ago?


    I bet 100$ that if you'd release Liberator in that state amount of tears would go through the roof.

    We cant have too many unique cds because it could lead to sitautions where every raid needs tactician or it's hybrid due to these cds. For balance purposes it is better if Trion simply makes it similar to other specs (like Dominator or Defiler)

    tactican is complete crap and now worse with 3.0 all proper rogue tanks need it for the subsoul.

    would be nice if this horrible spec is turned into sth worth getting at least.
    then again they probably rather release a new soul pack (more money) than fixing existing stuff. (weapon switch bug for rogues cough cough).

    I didn't see the old thread, so I don't know if this was brought up, but, what about Motif of Encouragement? It's a useless garbage ability that needs to be replaced.

    if all the other specs can get ranged to 35m why cant nightblade be the same?
    with the way you burn through your power aint as if you going to become the new rogue pyro

    I wouldnt call it melee, rather hybrid, since some abilities can be used from 20m and if you count NB as melee spec only because it's abilities require melee weapon than all Warriors are melee specs since ranged weapon is just a stat stick for them.

    Tactician does need a revamp, the soul has no purpouse or role really. Is it a healer? aoe dps? wait, no maybe suport...

    Someone said they rather release other soul packs then fix those other souls like, Elementalist, Tactician or RB. I agree totally.

    I know we are in a decent position atm as a calling, but that's not a reason to be like 'omg guys u just got some changes, stop qq'ing".

    I think tact should be both an aoe and an aoe healing soul because I'm all for more variety.

    Please give rogues a low invest "break free", as all the other callings have.
    11 pts: ride the wind 20 sec cd
    6 pts: elude 1 min cd
    11 pts dark passage 20 sec cd


    As bd is my main utility soul (interrupt, charge, speed) i propose additional changes to "Sprint" to remove all impairing effects, 1 min cd.

    Can Torrent Primer be made so it affect the tooltips and not active like a debuff, nearly thought it was a bug when testing it out.

    Also can Reverberation gain stacks out of combat.
