    Default Stat Priority and Explanation

So I've been looking about on the internet for stat priority in terms of what a rogue needs, but also some information on stats I don't exactly get. I'm hoping someone can explain "Deflect" to me.

Anyways, I'm wondering what stats I should prioritize and to what the caps are for the following specs:

    Riftstalker tank

    Marksman

    Assassination

    Bard

    Thanks in advance!

    Deflect is just block

    Riftstalker = Endurance then Dex
    Everything else = Dex

I don't remember what the caps are for anything these days
Even free cost too much now

A little oversimplified with the stat priorities.

    Riftstalker - Endurance>Deflect>Dexterity
    Marksman/Assassin - CP to 1194>AP
    Bard - AP

There is no cap on AP and Dex. Phys Crit does have a cap but you shouldn't worry about it because you will never be close to it. CP has a hard cap of 1400 and a soft cap of ~1194 with BiS essences and raid buffs.

    Erct - <Undaunted> - Wolfsbane.
    4/4 RoF, 5/5 MS, 2/3 TF, HK 10/11, 4/4 iGP HM, your MoM 4/9.

Going a little further in depth on deflect:
When you are running a spec that has Guardian Phase, and have it activated, the ability to deflect a physical attack is enabled. When you deflect an attack, a % of the damage of that attack mitigated. A higher deflect rating results in both an increased deflect rate, as well as increasing the amount of damage mitigated per deflected attack.

However, deflect has no effect on non-physical effects (ie. cast spells). As well, the majority of boss attacks, even though they may be physical in nature, are unavoidable (ie. can't be deflected, parried, or dodged). This is why, except in some fringe cases, higher endurance is considered better than deflect.

    Not really.

    Endurance > Armor = Resist

    Nothing else matters.
