    Default Motif macro ?

Those of you that are skilled with macros, do you know if there is a way to macro those 3 to save up some space on the hotbar and make it easier to cast?
Im usually so stressed while fighting that I click it so fast only to realise the game didnt pick it up.

what level are you? at level 16 you get to put 1 point into bardic inspiration, which gives coda finishers 20% per point spent to refresh motifs.

in most cases you never need to manually refresh motifs again so long as you are using bard finishers once per 20 seconds to refresh before resonance or motifs drop. and karuul alert can help you track that.

There's no way to macro motifs.

I'll try to make this as detailed as possible since it is complicated.

First you need to make 5 separate macros, listed below:
    --------------------------------
    #show Motif of Regeneration
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Motif of Regeneration
    macrowait
    importkeybindings 2

    --------------------------------

    #show Motif of Grandeur
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Motif of Grandeur
    macrowait
    importkeybindings 3

    --------------------------------

    #show Motif of Tenacity
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Motif of Tenacity
    macrowait
    importkeybindings 4

    --------------------------------

    #show Motif of Focus
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Motif of Focus
    macrowait
    importkeybindings 5

    --------------------------------

    #show Motif of Bravery
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Motif of Bravery
    macrowait
    importkeybindings 1

    --------------------------------
Put the Regeneration macro on bar 3, button 1
Put the Grandeur macro on bar 3, button 2
Put the Tenacity macro on bar 3, button 3
Put the Focus macro on bar 3, button 4
Put the Bravery macro on bar 3, button 5

    ---------------------------------
Now's where things get more complicated but just follow that's written here exactly.

Figure out what button you want to use to control this macro, for this example I am going to use the "`" key as it's easy to reach next to the other number keys

Nowadays I just keep my Motifs on out of the way hotkeys (7, 8, and 9). Fire em once prepull and just maintain with Codas.

If you're having issues maintaining Resonance/Motifs, I can't recommend getting Karuul Alert enough. It's a tremendously helpful addon, and useful for almost every build in the game.

Macroing motifs is rather worthless now that they are kept up by codas and there's only three.

I tried this and i sure cant get it to work. I dont want them on any numbers cause I use those...so I picked alt 1 alt 2 alt 3. But im not the person that goes along well with macros at all

That explanation seems to be cut off. You also had to have five (now, three) different keybinding sets exported so that the same key would activate each macro.

One of these days Trion will add 20 sec cooldowns to the motifs heh

Then people will complain, and the cooldown will be changed to a number that doesn't match the duration of the ability, like 15.

I use the add on cbh healer~ key binds and macros within the cbh raid/party bars(more for my other classes) BUT it does come in handy with the bard. One show buffs (within the add-on , makes it very simple to see when motifs drop off) on your person ;-) and bind buffs to a key . You can set up custom key binds, which is basically applying a macro to a key bind (without using all that shift and alt click nonsense if you know how to macro) and this itself is great. Example on my bard, left motif #1, right motif #2, wheel up anthem #1 wheel down anthem #2, etc.. These keybinds are withing the raid/party area only and do not affect key bind outside of it. So that is where it really comes handy.

You can find keyboards with a set of programmable macro buttons, I use one myself (sorry don't have the model handy, logitec) and have a game specific macro so i can 1 button all 3 motifs. Sounds lazy, but honestly I hate eating up my WASD adjacent real estate with maintenance buttons.
