Default Expert Epics > TotDQ Epics?

Picked up the slippers from TotDQ last night. Once the dust settled, I was disappointed to find that, based on rift-hero.com, they score less than my dead silent boots. Same for the gloves.

I would have thought that loot from a 10-man would be better than 5-man experts.

    Opinions?

Also stellar crafted gear is better than raid gear, for dps anyways.

A random site with random stat weights tells you your loot is bad and you take it as a given?

I can corroborate his theory. I posted a question about Expert epics on Yahoo! Answers and received similar results.

Well I asked my Border Terriers (aged 15 and 8) and after much argument over a soft toy or two they agreed that the stat weights were in error and that you send them the items and they would adjust them a bit.

There are eight species of Bear (Ursidae): Arctos, Americanus, Thibetanus, Maritimus, Helarctos, Melonleuca, Ornatus, Malayanus, Ursinus.
Koalas are not one of them, not even close.

Its a higher tier, meaning all else being equal it would be better than a lower tier counterpart.

Those expert boots are AP boots. I'm sure the raid tier boots with AP will be better than those, when you find them.

The weights on that website are pretty much correct, but only for the 40-36 build. I don't think anyone's run weights on any of the others. Some like NB and Bard are no brainers to value AP > all though.

Meet the Raid tier dropped AP boots.

They are indeed better than the dungeon drop ones.

Gotta compare the same type of gear to make any kind of compairson~

Raid gear is better than dungeon gear (a few exceptions). Crafted gear with the best augments are king.

Would be nice to see better crit itemization, if the items won't be revamped to AP.

Currently you would need any given piece to have triple-digit crit rating to be considered good.

I'm not sure what stat weight you were using and what gloves you had on, but the gloves from the 10 man (with crit power) are BIS unless there is a glove drop in EE with AP.

As far as loot in the 10 man goes for rogues, its really hit or miss. The boots and sholders that drop both have crit on them, and are not as good as expert purples with AP. THe 1h sword also has crit on it and isn't great. If you melee it's an upgrade but for range it's meh.

The belt that drops is good as it has AP, but not quite as good as the crafted with an epic aug.

The gloves with crit power and the AP neck are both BIS.

Thats all i've seen drop for rogue DPS gear in the 10 man
