    1) I like MM/RS . . . but just about anything with a ranged tagger and self heal will work.
    2) 51 Bard, that is all.
    3) Sab
    4) Don't bother, PVP is terrible. Just Spam-Out farm conquest till you get gear/rank and get out.
    5) See 4.
    6) See 4.

    At low ranks, you'll have difficulty with any kind of dps build, but regardless:

    Zaros's Rogue guide is very solid.

    Saboteur is overpowered and good at basically anything. Nightblade /Riftstalker is best thought of as a tank/dps hybrid - strong survivability and "rambo" potential but not an overwhelming amount of DPS. Nightblade /Bladedancer is heavy DPS and extremely powerful once you have buffs up, but not as survivable.

    If you like Assassins, you can try several builds

    Sustained => Assassinate Bursty
    Sin/BD/RS => Sin/RS => Sin/BD => 51Sin/MM or 51Sin/BD

    51MM or 51Rng can do decent damage from range.

    For support, 32Bard/34Riftstalker or 44Bard/22Riftstalker is pretty okay. MM/RS is a mixed DPS/semitank/support build (learn to love Eradicate)! Its dps is a lot lower than most of the above; doesn't mean it can't kill anything however.

    Warfront builds, use any of the above (and more) depending on situation. I personally use MM/RS, NB/BD and Sin/RS.

    Just giving some more practical advice than the above obviously horrible pvper.

    I'm R50, it doesn't change how much the PVP in this game is garbage.

    Yes, because being R50 automatically means you are a top pvp'er -.-

    Howso? I agree some aspects are unbalanced but overall I find it very enjoyable.

    It's not really all that unbalanced, it's just ridiculously terrible. Every single match is decided when you hit queue. It all either comes down to which team has gear or which team has a better healer/dps ratio. There is literally nothing else to care about.

    I sure hope they make R50 the same as PA and shovel it out for free because I can't stand getting my good PVE weapons on another toon playing that frustrating garbage of a game.

    You mean the better team wins? Skill means a great deal. Among just r50s, I know who is threatening and who isn't. I would argue there is far more skill in PvP than PvE.

    4) 49/17 MM/Sin, 51/15 MM/Ranger, 51/11/4 Sab/MM/RS. HK crystals when applicable.
    5) 44/22 MM/Bard, 34/32 Bard/RS, or you might really like 40/16/10 Bard/NB/RS.
    6) All of the above, but also 44/22 MM/RS.

    I wish I had time to pick your brains Quiesc... I have an 'idea' on how to play two specs atm as rogue, both ranged. Only tried melee perhaps 8 hrs or so, and that w/o **** for gear. Thus far I've sorta tried styling my gameplay after what I've seen you do on the WF as merc. It's fun as hell lol, and I'm only p9-10ish yet.

    Dude, I so wish you'd made a mage. You'da been brilliant at that too. I honestly think (not saying the class is better, it's likely not) you'da made even better use of what I feel are more options in gameplay as a mage.

    You sound like a hardcore PvE person who sucks at PvP - which is fine, it's your game too. But don't try and tell us that it sucks just because you're not good at it.

    PvP offers a diverse range of situations which require different approaches, which involves many dynamic items (ie players) who may or may not react in the way you expect. You constantly have to deal with changing conditions.

    PvE is the same scripted fight every single time. The only changes are who the mechanics target.

    I like both PvE and PvP, but I wouldn't even hesitate to say PvP requires more skill.
