I would like a healing soul, it would add more options than any other soul we could get. But the most important thing is that it's designed well and is fun to play. The last thing I want is to end up with another brainless ranger spec.

Agreed that a seventh (!!!) DPS soul would just be redundant. We've three ranged and three melee dps souls already. That is plenty thank you very much.
A support, I don't know. Maybe if it were a heck of a lot better designed than the Bard is, but It'd make more sense just to fix up that soul a bit instead. Maybe a support that was more focussed on powerful debuffing abilities instead.
A second tank is a possiblity. But it would have to play very, very differently to the Riftstalker or it'd just be a waste of time.
To be honest I think a healer seems to make the most sense at this point. Yes, yes I know: "A Rogue... healing?!" But then again many said the same thing about a Rogue tanking and that worked out all right in the end.

I only consider Ranger and Marksman to be ranged. Since they shoot a ranged weapon, Saboteur is a half-*** engineer in my opinion.
I think it should be a engineer. Summon Turrets and gadgets. Maybe have some leaching healing abilitys... That would go good with the up coming Storm expansion

yes.. sab is truly half of what an engineer does, as a 20 year Combat Veteran and Sapper I am well versed in this type of "engineering". TBH a form of an engineer might be more applicable and better synergize with our current sab, but after having seen daglar post that he had fun with our new soul I am under the impression it will be a form of healer.., hopefully not a squishy healer either...
Hmm... Wild thought here; maybe alchemist? De-buffing/crowd-controll? Slow, lower this and that etc.. Hard to think about rogues as anything else than damage-dealers.
The necromancer spells and pets must get stronger!
