It's my understanding that DoTs ignore armor. If that's true then only Blast and Shrapnel would benefit. Not exactly the two highest used charges.

You'll get benefit to time bomb, frag bomb, detonate, blast charge, shrapnel charge, and auto attacks. Note that towards the bombs it won't affect high explosives, just the actual bomb hit.

I guess that begs the question, what dots are there that do not ignore armor and are physical?
I'm assuming you're talking about bolt on dots like Residual Shrapnel, i.e. things that are not native to the ability.

DoT = generic damage over time. All bleeds are DoTs, not all DoTs are bleeds. For bleeds think of puncture, impale, high explosives, spike/shrapnel charges, etc. For generic DoT's think pyrolock (combust, dark touck, SV, etc.). Bleeds ARE physical damage and are hence enhanced by abilities that increase physical damage, but also ignore armor so any type of ArmPen is pointless for bleed based specs.
