    Default Macro question

    Below are some rogue macros I have copy/pasted from the Guide section. My understanding of how macros work is that the first ability that is off cooldown is the only ability that will be used. The macro will start at the top and work its way down until an ability off cooldown is available. An exception would be made if you are out of melee range and the macro will then limit itself to the ranged abilities.

    My question is how the last abilities listed (poison malice, expose weakness, cut and run etc) ever fire off since all of the macros have the basic CP builder listed before these abilities. For example, in the first macro listed Keen Strike will always execute if Puncture, Precision Strike and Quick Strike are on cooldown. How do the three abilities after Keen Strike ever execute?

    Example macros

    CP Builder:

    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Puncture
    cast Precision Strike
    cast Quick Strike
    cast Keen Strike
    cast expose weakness
    cast reprisal
    cast poison malice

    Cp builder:

    Before the tooltips were simplified, it was shown that these abilities (Expose weakness, reprisal, etc.) were off the global cooldown (OGCD).

    By spamming the button for the macro, the OGCD skills would go off during the global cooldown.

    Your assumption about which skill will fire is only partially correct. Not only does it have to be off cooldown but you must also meet the energy requirement and any positional requirement for the skill
