    Yes we request a fix. Who do i have to bribe to get this fixed?
    Gnarlwood - Belladonna - P50 Rogue

    Im here for the PvE, not the unbalanced subpar PvP.

    You don't gut an entire class mechanic for the entire game because of one ability from one boss fight in one instance. The "New" Rift Barrier may as well not even exist for all the good it does.

    Suggestion solutions to the issue which do not involve nerfing Riftstalkers Rift Barrier mechanic into the pavement:


    1. Overkill damage is not reflected back from Rift Barrier.

    2. Cap the reflected damage from Rift Barrier. Say at about half of your max health for each proc maximum.

    3. Flag this one problematic boss ability to bypass Rift Barrier. Or literally be an Instant Kill move which simply kills you; no damage involved.

    I didn't realize rift barrier was such a big deal.

    Is it not functioning at all or just on certain boss mechanics?

    It's not working on anything that can't be spell reflected. Which on most boss fights, is everything. Most importantly, it doesn't affect boss melee swings.

    It went from being my #1 source of damage (on most fights) to doing nothing.

    Rift Guard no longer provides the added aggro from reflecting damage taken since the tank is in most cases getting hit with non-reflectable abilities.
    Now its simply broken and useless for vast majority of skills which are being used against the tank.

    Just reduce Dread Shot damage from 20million+ to just 200k, and resolve all problems about this encounter.
    You guys dont need to change anything about Rift Barrier. Enough said.

    Or just program it to hit for a percentage of health that ignores all mitigation mechanics instead of some insane number.

    What this guy said, due to mitigation routinely changing, there are obvious problems with fixed amount of damage, making it % based would be much more sensible.

    uh.... even easier fix? dont allow it to reflect more hp than the rogue has, and never reflect damage that caused the death (not needed but a sure why not addition)? that wasnt an easier fix? it would forever and always fix this problem and you can even leave whatever mechanics in the game you want. just absolutely atrocious devs.

    It doesn't pop on melee swings now?

    Just an FYI, DPS and TPS are completely different subjects.

    This is the solution.

    I wasn't aware this "hotfix" was that terrible. I hope they fixit ASAP.

    Reminds me when they gave us 15% damage reduction on deflected non physical attacks for RS Crystal, LOL

    Only took them 4 months to change that to something useful (5% Endurance)

    I agree. We very strongly request this fix.


    Also while you are at it fix my energy bar, it's empty all the time, must be broken
