Back to Rift - looking for updated melee specs.

Hello All,


I just resubbed yesterday back to Rift after a couple month hiatus (late December, played swtor, did not like it).

I'm looking for what would be considered the best rogue melee builds. I have done a bit of research (checked out Zyzyx's bible, and some other threads).

Looks like Sin/Rs is a good combo now - can anyone link the exact build. Is it an AP / end game / HK geared build. I've also seen talk on bloodstalker ... i had a hard time getting into this build.

I have some HK gear, but mostly durnes, so i'm not sure an AP scaling build would be ideal for me (I believe i have right around 1150). It might though.


Just looking for a little direction for a returning player. Right now i play the 1.5 version of Blinkblade, and its doing okay, but i have a feeling i could be doing better.

I think best for you would be Bloodstalker for ST, with the Sin Crystal or Nightblade for fights including AoE, but i'm not sure how NB works without 4 Piece bonus..

I'd suggest you to take a look at Zyzyx's guide. It's a real good overview towards alle dps rogue builds that are viable now.

Thanks for the reply... i did check out Zyzyx's Bible, a lot of the builds looked like what they did in December, so i wasn't sure if it had been upkept or not (despite some of the edit tags being as recent as 2 days ago).

I'll check it out again. Some people made mention of Sin/Rs builds... i personally really like blink builds for many reasons and its always useful to have a MM build...

That said, i'll check out the bible again. Thanks.
