    Default Expose Weakness hotfix

    * Expose Weakness: No longer increases the damage of Spotter's Order, Illuminate, and Coda of Jeopardy.
Now we knew this was coming (remember reading some theorycrafting on the bugs impact) but does anybody have hard data on how much this fix reduces the dps of our top builds (SIN/RS, BD)? Either from dummie tests or HK following today's reset.

    Very little.

EDIT: 80-100 damage possibly every 3 seconds 10-25 dps tops

Thanks. Was asking because we know sometimes a fix breaks something else and wanted to confirm that everything else works fine.

I think the real question might be if this makes it less optimal to FB every 3 GCDs if that's now clipping more of the EW charges.

It's a loss of 1 EW tick per rotation, unless you have low crit/bad RNG then it could be a loss of 2 EW per rotation.

So it's a loss of 10-45 DPS or so. It's RNG based, but also rotation based(so also energy based). Constant 3 PT FBs will see the heaviest loss, while doing 4/5CP FBs to get energy back see less of a loss.

You do not lose your EW ticks, they just get applied to other attacks. It really does not change anything.

Maybe someone has proof, but they go so fast I wouldn't notice it without a parser showing a stack being consumed by individual skills. I noticed no real differences in dps. Currently, golem inductor, crit % on big skills, and timing still play the biggest parts in dps rng to be too worried about EW hotfix.

You do lose a tick because CoJ/Ill/SO was not consuming a tick of EW.

You lose 1 tick's worth of damage per 3 seconds, yes. So the higher your AP, the more you lose, but overall it's not much and can easily be drowned in RNG. Also that's assuming you had EW up for every single proc, which im sure a fair number of people couldn't guarantee.
