    Default Sab 1.8 PTS changelog

    Saboteur -
    *All traps now have no CD, aside from Landmines.
    *Combat Survival Changed to Combined Arms - Your Fragmentation Bomb has a 50% chance to detonate all Blast and Spike Charges you have attached to your enemies.(0/2)
    *Charge Booster - Increases the damage bonus from Attack Power of your Charges by 5%. The damage bonus from Attack Power is increased by 2% for every point spent in the Saboteur Soul above 21.
    *Demolition Specialist - Buffed to 4 Targets.
    *Trench Warfare - Increases the damage bonus from Attack Power of your Bombs, Traps, and Land mines by 5%. The damage bonus from Attack Power is increased by 3% for every point spent in Saboteur Soul above 26.
    *High Explosives - Now when you detonate it spreads the bleed to all surrounding targets.

    *Saboteur Crystal changes -
    *2piece bonus - Increases the damage of Blast Charge and Spike Charge by 30%.
    *4piece bonus - Increases the damage of all Saboteur Area of effect abilities by 15%.


    That was all the changes that I noted. They may have tweaked base damage on bombs, traps, ect. However I didnt look that far into them.

    Apparently like all these changes were posted in some other thread, through multiple posts.

    IN any case, its consolidated into 1 thread. I did leave out a few things tho, with some charges being changed to AOE on detotnation. Caltrop, Splinter, Ember, ect.

    You missed some stuff.
    Caltrop charge now applies an AoE bleed effect.
    Embers and Splinter charges are now AoE
    All abilities have had their base damage increased.

    One other thing I left out.

    Deadly Dance has been changed for less syngergy with Sab.

    Deadly Dance Charges - so if you use 3/3 charges for your 5x charges it maxs out at 42%, instead of 105%.

    If that makes any sense.

    Do you mean, DD only applies to 3 charges?

    No, it applies to ALL 5 charges, but they only receive 42% increase if you use 2/3 stacks of Deadly dance. Its 21% per charge. so at 3/3 its 63% instead of 105%.

    I noticed that these charges just say "Surrounding enemies" Is there a target cap?

    OOOOHHHH, I get it.
    Having all the changes consolidated would be nice.

    Here's hoping some more tweaks are on the way. I'm hopeful that Sabo won't be completely useless in PvP after this patch.

    Speaking of PvP, Zyzyx mentioned in the other thread something about cleanses only removing one charge now. Might need to test that and if true, add that into the changes list.

    EDIT: Dunno if there's a target cap. Haven't found a good place to test it. Maybe I'll go get killed by Mathosian knights in stillmoor to test it.

    It's always just removed 1 charge, and not the whole stack. It's been that way since launch.

    Lol, shows how much I pay attention. Then again... it's not like sab has been useful since charges became poisons in PvP anyway.

    Actually it was quite good in PVP just before the MM buff (1.4 that was I think ?)

    Anyway, nice to see that soul addressed. Would be cool if they could somehow improve Traps a bit more, considering they're nice for strategic placement in PVP.
    Some word on the synergies with MM being fixed (that is: should work together per tooltip info, in reality does not) ?
