    Default For the Rogue Vets

Hey all have a question for yas. So no **** their I was in a WF and found myself in melee with a War. Now he got the charge from behind me so I hit repelling shot and it had no effect o.O. So I finish a couple CP with Hasted shot then fired Crippling Shot with no effect and finally Static Shot again no effect.

Im not here to whine like a ***** but need advice on what the War did or what I didn't do that resulted in no slow/stun over the War. I checked the War ability's and found a "No push back" for like 15 sec, but that's all I could find. Any tips would be taken advantage of thank you ;D

way of the mountain - http://rift.zam.com/en/ability/68516...f-the-Mountain

That makes them immune to repelling shot. They might have been on DR for the snare/root.

Riftblade heavy warriors can really stick to you, it's just the nature of how their spec works. Also in PvP Diminishing Returns can cause people to become immune to pretty much everything very quickly.

Also Way of the Mountain as stated above.

I forgot about the possibility of DR being the case. As I was strafing I saw my attacks make contact but wow he was stuck to me like glue. Anyways thank you very much for your time ;)

Aye if repelling fails it's either he's on dr (some scrub fired crossfire maybe?) or he's in way of the mountain trolololol spec.

For MM vs. warrior your best bet is to keep them at max range and try to kite, once they get on you if they are in a decent spec there really isn't much you can do.

Run a fair distance, change roles, stealth!

Now that warrior'll never find you!

Any good marksman will immediately turn, shadow shift, then retreat/on the double, just as this response noted. If you don't keybind, then warriors will own you, there is not a Riftblade warrior in existence that I can not kite effectively. Stop backpedaling/keyboard turning, and you won't have to visit the forums for advice on warriors being in your melee range as marksman.

It's still a terrible PvP spec compared to Marksman, though.

If they're running WotM, they are usually a glass cannon. If you can keep distance they go down pretty quick.

It IS fun to see a warrior tunnel vision go after me when I retreat away though. Oh barbed shot is tickling you? Poor baby... dead!
