    Default Planar Attunement.

Has anyone been able to test the Vampiric Essence in the Death tree from PA? is it worth speccing for? are the procs often enough to be noticeable? and is it substantial?

It's still a terrible PvP spec compared to Marksman, though.

I figured as much, but I'm referring to the enchant that procs a heal when you do damage.

    Yeah, I know >.>

EDIT: I mean, I assume you're talking PvP. In PvP, the heal isn't noticeable in the slightest, it's like a really watered down version of Bloodthirsty. You're way better off taking even a coarse whetstone IMO.
In the sense that you're trying to stay alive against an opponent, the extra DPS from whetstones is just so much better, because you'll kill your opponent way faster.
And if I remember right, you play 'Sin with 4pc HK, which means whetstones are even better than they'd be in a different spec. If you're going 4pc I'd spec to take them out rather than self-heal through their damage.

Ok thanks for that, yes I was referring to pvp

I have it, it sucks. Less than untalented leeching poison. Only time it is good is spamming AOE with anti planar augmentation during onslaughts.

Lightning Glyph is the only tier 2 enchant with any real purpose and even that is only for tanking.

I see, well I went fire for the gun dps after all, I'm doing fine with my Sin specc/gear.

Well damn, I was working for this one. Thought it doubled with Leeching would be nice in PvP

It does double with leeching it just doesn't really do any real healing, especially not in pvp where people take 45% less dmg

Thanks for the response, I'm glad I did not invest in the death tree.

As already pointed out, it is a really watered down version of leeching. if you Anti in an invasion, it was decent, but you are taking so less dmg and have the dmg boost it was "okay"

I was high in the death tree before I had the system reset, and since went high in fire. Much happier with the razor-edge ability for added dps when I am just out soloing crap or doing dungeons then the trickle heal that vamp would give you.
If it was on par with Leeching, I would say hell yes, would be worth it, but it is like a tenth of Leeching
