Default Whitefalls Steps "Crystal Running" Spec

    ok............

So what's the spec, to cause frustration in others as it does to myself, and my realmmates
We have people on both sides who have a dedicated spec/soul, that caters specifically to running crystals...

    any input on this?

I prefer Marksman over BD myself

    - Hasted Shot
    - Swift Shot
    - On the Double
    - Hasty Departure
    - Knockback

Just something I came up with in a few seconds. Probably some better ones out there, but mehh it does the job.

    38RS/17MM/11BD.

BD > Bard as you get more free points and also side steps.

It works, it has utility, it isn't the fastest you can run, but it sure is faster than any mount, planar vortex is a great addition to knock people off thier mounts.

I think it possibly has the best survivability+speed combination money can buy. The bard speed buff is 100% uptime and I don't think unlike the BD skill it is purgable, no cooldown either, more hp, more defence and stats also giving your team the edge.

Actually, the spec I prefer most, is as follows(resighting from memory, I ran this a little Saturday and all morning Sunday...and it proved Very successful.

I'm not of a fan of bard, very little gains, instead I use INF

    RS/MM/INF

I go 15 into inf, which gives me all the dmg reductions, break free, increased runspeed, etc

I go through RS for all the dmg. Reduction, freedom of movement and rift prison, rift prison is endlessly important.

And with MM I get upgraded sprint, dmg. Reduction and a knockback.

When a group is charging me, while I'm holding the crystal, I start stacking swift shots, finish with hastened shot first finisher. I rift prison a mage, or the like. I blitz to the first enemy, stalk to the second, or an ally, followed by a plane shift and shadow warp...top it all off with an MM sprint...ya I've evaded whole teams countless times.

As just a p4/p3 with 1009 valor and around 7.5k HP I am a speeding force to be reckoned with.

Any guardians that I had the pleasure to que with know why. Didn't lose a match at all on Sunday and out of the 25 or so wins, I capped 90% of the flags.

Try the build, its amazing, great mitigation lots of blinks(I chose to leave shadow assault out)

Oh! And I swift shot anyone I run by, for vampiric munitions proc

    Happy hunting

RS/MM/Inf is likely the best of the ones I've seen. A lot of passive stuff in there that I can't just Eradicate off. ;P

I went threw the stone runner phase and I used two builds. The first is the mm variant best used for short hop type runs like Port Scion and Whitefall escalation.

The next one I feel is better for the traditional Whitefall or any long haul type run that you might come across.

Anyone serious about running should have both of these specs on them. Also if you get used to the short hop variant don't forget when you switch to the Long haul spec you have side steps and flash of steal is lol when used as another port.

Just got home from work, tested and theory crafted a lot of builds, and I still stand that THIS build is the best solo runner..

    20inf/28rs/18mm

For all the above reasons I posted.

That's preaty much what I use I guess I just got used to memory capture for port scion. That was THE warfront when I was running and putting it in the corner of the church allowing you to port right in there was so lol. But ya I agree those passives from inf and mm really fill in the gaps between ports nice.

That's what I used back when I had the free roles for luxuries like a flag runner spec.

The problem with some of those running specs, no stealth.
