    Default 1.6 Rift Guard Anyone Help

    Can anyone Tell me if ive added these numbers up right please.

    When at 51 Riftstalker

    Rift Guard 15%
    Improved Rift Guard 17.5%
    TOTAL 32.5%

    So Rift Guard Being up it will Adsorb 32.5% of Dmg Taken?

    15% base value
    2.5% improved rift guard base value
    (51-26)*0.5%=17.5% from improved rift guard scaling

    Total of 35%.

    35% of
    50% of total health from rift gaurd
    + 50% added from improved rift gaurd
    + 10% for each point over 16 (10 * 35= 350%)
    grand total of 450

    35% of 450% of your maximum health

    so if you have 1000 hp and something hits you for 100
    35% of 4500 = 1575
    it gets nulled?

    did i do it right?

    No, the shield absorbs a maximum of 450% of your max health. It won't absorb more than 35% of the total damage / hit.

    A mob hits you for 100 -> 35% absorbed -> 65 damage taken.

    450% of your max health = 4500. So after having absorbed 4500 damage (or 30 seconds), the Rift Guard falls off and you'll need to reapply it. That would mean 4500 / 35 about 128 hits from the mob.

    With 51 points in Riftstalker and 5 combo points, Rift Guard absorbs a total of 250% of your max health, not 450%.

    Edit: Unless they changed it in 1.6 and I haven't read about it.

    No change to max absorb that I've seen.

    Not like it matters, never once have I seen it drop from absorbing all the damage.
