    Default +Hit, and Deflect

    So you have 24% deflect and some guy has 108 hit.

    Guess how much you deflect now..

    I doubt it is that simple. If that was true then 20% Dodge + 20% Parry would only be 20% mitigation, as somebody with +20% Hit would negate it all.

    Miss, dodge, parry, deflect. Add them all together and thats how much hit you need. give or take...

    Actually NO.

    If you have 20% Dodge, 20% Parry, 20% Deflect then 21% hit will own it all.

    Then again.. it's a PVE tank gimmic... not a PVP tool.

    Ok forget deflect, You think that dodge and parry you are using on your rogue in PvP is useful? 100 hit makes your dodge and parry totally useless...

    +Hit is 100% PvP tool.

    And that is also why the proposed hit cap for PVP ranges from around 100-125
    To do exactly that...

    Personally my rogue is fully decked in in R7-8 gear and rocks a grand total of 75 hit rating from gear/runes and depending on the spec another 15 from talents.
    Yet in my Juggernaut spec (c) tm (r) i'm sitting on around 34% deflect...

    It's a trade-off you do when planning your gear, do I want to miss my target or not?

    But there's certain tank specs you often encounter which will dodge/block/parry or otherwise avoid your attacks due to cooldowns regardless of your +hit.

    What was the point of this thread again by the way?

    QQQQ! people avoid my attacks because I have no +hit!!11

    OR

    QQQQ! people manage to hit me due to having +hit but I want to be immortal because I have deflect!!1

    The point of this thread is to ask why a pve stat affects pvp... Don't fear +hit will soon be a thing of the past, 1.7 can come no sooner...
