    Default How much +hit do I need in pvp?

    I did a search and came up with nothing uesful on this topic so here goes...


    I've noticed lately that a few folks have been dodging everything I throw at them instead of dieing like they should. I only have the 14 hit from my helm rune helping me in this area.


    How much do I need to make sure I hit 95%+ of the time and how should I go about increasing my hit rating? (runes, gear, etc...) I'm a MM rogue with tier 4 and 5 level pvp gear.

    i have about 50 and have not had any issues..

    Warfronts need segregation of the Tiers. 1-5 and 6-8 or pre-50 pvp will be the most enjoyable PVP in the game.

    A lot of people that are dodging you constantly are probably popping cooldowns. I have about 100 hit in my full P6 with pve weapons, and I rarely see misses/dodge/etc unless its obviously someone popping cooldowns.

    The best setup is to have 3 raid level weapons with +hit and the rest PvP gear. Currently that is not an easy task for many people so I suggest adding the +18 hit enchants to your helm and legs, and the +13 hit enchants to all 3 weapons.

    People with full R8 gear are forced to put +hit runes since full R8 gives 1 hit.
    Anyway on the topic, 30-50 is where you have to be.

    I had 67 from PvE weapons while in my PvP equipment set, rarely saw a problem. Added +13 to a new PvE weapon, haven't really noticed a change. Slightly less I guess, but not enough to have been worth it for PvP alone.

    75 (15%) will get you landing hits ~95% of the time. Certain cleric specs due to their high parry % and rogues popping side steps will require more than that but it's not worth giving up valor for these exceptions outside of a duel. 75 is also achievable with only +hit runes. +18 hit on helm and legs (radiant accurate rune) and +13 hit on each weapon (incandescent precise rune or runeshard - i can't remember). Anyhow, 75 will get you where you want to be but ~100+ is ideal if you can get some good PvE drop weapons.

    A better answer would be for them to put +20 Hit on the P8 weapons.

    You need over 100 to almost never miss.

    Naw, Rogues/Warriors would get the worst out of it. Melee clerics would be pretty bad off too. Mages/spell based clerics, theyd love it. Focus isn't near as needed as hit currently is.
