    Default [PvP] 40sin/16NB/10BD vs 32sin/16NB/18RS

    What 40sin/16NB/10BD has that 32sin/16NB/18RS doesn't:
    Hidden Veil
    Sidesteps
    Combat Pose
More points in Sin for extra damage

    What 32sin/16NB/18RS has that 40sin/16NB/10BD doesn't:
Increased endurance and static damage reduction
3 gap closers (well, 2 and a blink)
    2 CC breaks vs 1
    Stalker Phase damage buff

I'd like to know what you guys think about the differences between the two. Have you tried either spec out and what do you not like about them?

32sin/16NB/18RS is what i have been running and its working out pretty damn well at R5.. no problem taking out equal rank people now unlike before I used to just stick to people well below my rank.. but now my opening sequence gets equal rank blue or pink bars to about 40% health or lower and usually dont have problem finishing them off

Warfronts need segregation of the Tiers. 1-5 and 6-8 or pre-50 pvp will be the most enjoyable PVP in the game.

Yeah, I've been leaning towards the RS build myself. Just thought someone would like to chime in as to why they prefer the 40sin version.

I personally can't live without gap closers and a blink. The utility you get in RS is pretty hard to pass up. I've actually manged to kill a healer and blink back out, doesn't happen often, but it's awesome when it does.

I'm curious to see an actual link to a build I think mine is a tad off.
True mastery is to feel the flames of your passion, to dance with the fire, to live in it, to fully embrace the primal forces of destruction and creation, and not be burned to a cinder, to survive and prosper because you loved the flame, used the flame, but did not allow yourself to be consumed by it.

Would also like a link to the build and maybe any macro you might use with a lil explnation. I been running 33sin/33BD/0RS. It has done me well solo and in PvP but I want a build that can take more of a beating. I love melee Rogues and the Assassin build. Really looking for help with a good PvP possiable replacement for my solo spec as well. =)

My rogue isn't 50 yet, but this what I've been working towards:

    32sin/18rs/16nb http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M....VotoMo.Vcxb0R

Not sure if all the points are in the right place, but so far seems to be working well. My rogue is only 37 and with the stun abilities pre-50 i can 1v1 most other classes/builds. There are still those that I end up slipping away from, but I get my share of kills.

Why no poison mastery? That seems to be one of the big boost in the Sin tree. Unless, im just misunderstanding how it reads. 75% to the attack power bonus of attack seems pretty big.

if i was putting 40 into sin i would take it for sure but at 32 you don't really have much to play with.. with the bonus poisons do put out some decent damage but not enough to make up for losing subterfuge, advanced flanking, and physical trauma

I guess. Seems to me 75% bonus to all my attacks outways some 10% passives here and there. Would be nice if I knew what exactly the attack power bonuses of the main attacks were. Could probably make a more informed decision. The chance to apply poisons is a bonus. Leeching is healing me for 248 a proc atm
