Debilitating poison.. why is no one talking about it in 1.5?

no one is thinking about the hidden gem in this patch.....

Debilitating poison... 5% man per proc... and my sin spec on test has it procing 6 times per 10secs.... a cleric with no mana is a dead cleric... 1 rogue will drain a casting healer in 20 sec or less.. 2 rogues will drain a casting healer in less then 15 sec. Same for dps casters.. no mana no casting.

I just cant see why more rogues are not looking at this?

Don't need clerics crying in addition to mages and warriors about rogues getting some changes. 5% per hit is pretty insane on a 40% proc rate though, no doubt it will be nerfed before this patch happens.

They don't nerf it and assassins will become better at mana draining than dominators with a slip away, with mana drains that cant be cleansed, how much *****ing do you think that will generate?

Well we have to be in melee range.. and poisons can be purged cant they? And we have to be hitting you to apply poisons... ohh and its waaaaaaay up the tree you wont get it without alot of investment.

An assassin is supposed to kill something within 10 seconds and that mana drain isnt going to do anything in that time unless the person is already almost out.

also has the same problem as vampiric munitions - it will just get purged off by clerics

which is the same as killing them as poison = added to your regular strike, 1s gcd - purge = you do nothing else, 1.5 s gcd.

They need to .. um.. touch it again. It's called debilitating poison. If you have it on you, it should make everything you do more difficult. The way it would be if you were, you know, debilitated.
