    Default Damage Cap on skills?

    On PTS i can't crit higher than 3790 with Deadeye Shot.
    No matter what i do.

    51mm/15rng.

    With 850 AP i deal exactly 3790 damage, with 100 AP more and same buffs, same spec, etc again 3790.

    Another rogue couldn't get past 3790 selfbuffed aswell.

    I really have no idea... is the damage capped at 3790 with selfbuffs?

    Don't think so, been trying different MM builds and sometimes Deadeye would hit for over 4k

    Another test:

    selfbuffed: 3790

    inviting archon to group with more dex/str .. so more attackpower

    STILL 3790..... why the hell is deadeye shot capped at 3790... totally useless to get better equipment, if skills just stop scaling at a certain point.

    Yea of course %-based changes depending on build changes the crit value.
    But somewhere around 850-900 attackpower deadeye stops gaining more damage.

    It couldnt be your weapon could it? What are you using for tests?

    I've not had time to try MM much yet, so just guessing, but I imagine there will be a limit how much each tier of weapon could hit for.

    r8 weapon hits just as hard as t3... always 3790 damage.

    I would be extremely surprised if anybody can hit higher than 3790 with a 51mm/15rng specc (build with sin, or other souls will change the damage modifiers, so only 51mm/15rng for comparison).

    No matter what kind of weapon u use or how much AP u have.

    u can't get past 3790 damage as 51mm/15rng selfbuffed with deadeye shot.

    i can crit for 80k+ on a mote with 70+stacks.

    my deadey crit hits 3729 selfbuffed, 3825 selfbuffed + 40dex/str flask, 3874 selfbuffed +40dex/str flask + 40 dex buff
    was using rending munition and silver tip

    Guess i just have to make a few screenshots when i'm back home.

    Don't know how to be any clearer.

    51mm/15rng with 51 munition and it didn't change the damage when changing electrified to rendering munition.

    I was criting for 3790 damage.

    After inviting an archont for more dex/str ... still 3790 damage.
    After changing between r8 and t3 weapon ... still 3790 damage.
    After changing essences (shadow fire greater and stuff for more AP) ... still 3790 damage.
    After using a cake from ipp for 10 atkpower ... still 3790.

    Or in other words: at a certain amount deadeye shot seemed to ignore any gain of attackpower.

    Tested it on the normal dummy, maybe that's the problem, if everyone can hit higher.

    Did you trained Deadeye Shot to the highest rank by any chance?

    Well yea of course.
    I don't complain about the damage itself either. i just can't make it hit higher through stacking more AP, which i don't get.

    But it most likely was because of the normal test dummy? Needa check that one.

    Might be just PTS glitching, maybe it'll be ok when patched to live. Possibly reproduce the damage cap problem and send the screen shot to ticket booth.

    well... the normal dummy has 3971 HP... i'll stop myself from going further into this

    switch the target and see the numbers raising
