    Default Theft of Thought - mana drain doesn't scale with ap

    Please fix this so it becomes worth using. Cloros with over 9000 mana laugh at me. Also some more dmg would be nice.

    discuss possible build with this.

    I asked for this months ago, since the first of us hit rank 6. Obviously I was laughed at all told to "L2P" by Clerics, Mages, Warriors, and other Rogues; much like I am now. However, judging by most of the posts on the Rogue forums, as well as the PvP forums, more and more people are starting to see the truth behind Rogues in PvP.

    This skill should have the mana drained increased to 1k+ as well as the damage boosted to match that of other finishers. Or you can just have the damage done of the finisher = the amount of mana drained. It should also work as a ranged spell if you're a ranged Rogue.

    don't need rogue to become pocket mana burn

    obvious problem is that an effective mana drain on a well geared target would be excessive against one not so well geared, an setting it at a % of their mana bar is also probably a bad idea

    since most look at balance as being for group play, the current value could be useful against someone in combat that has used up a good portion of their pool already

    If you could get a chloro to zero and keep it there, you would be able to make clerics obsolete.

    If it scales to AP then it must also be mitigated by resists & cause CC to break (after all it is damage)

    It isnt really a great abillity to build a spec around and most of the time you would be more usefull killing people.

    The problem is if you try this abillity with DPS souls you will end up killing someone before you drain there mana to zero a lot of the time.

    This is the build that I tried with theft of thought.

    And Clerics or other mana healers or aren't valued more than dps currently?

    So we have to make him burn his mana THEN burn his mana? Why give us the skill?

    your build allows you to drain mana while not doing anything else

    im looking for a build that utilizez ToT while being able to kill people

    If you are trying to kill people why worry about draining mana? If you do try to add a mana drain to a DPS Spec you will just be making your damage suffer.

    Making some kind of manadrain/DPS hybrid isnt going to be a good idea. You have multiple specs if you really want to drain someones mana that should be what you focus on. There is no point in wasting time draining someones mana if you can kill them before you get them to 0 mana.

    Some classes can use their mana to heal themselves so you can't kill them!
