    Default Rogue Weapons - Lvl 20 - 29

A buddy and me have rolled duo rogues and have been leveling up through PvP. We are just curious how to obtain the best weapons for the level 20-29 range.

I've been playing a melee build and he has been ranged dps, so both of those are options.

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are some very nice crafting weapons you can get if the crafter has the rep from the zone quartermasters. Not sure what is available (as I'm logged out) but suggest you find the quartermaster in your leveling zone and check what they have available. Then do a shout out in trade or your main city asking if anyone has those weapons available if you like them.

...or you can just grab the PvP reward ones which I hear are also good. Just no idea what they are as I don't PvP much.

There are nice weapons to be had through crafting but just balance out the effort put into obtaining them with the realization of how quickly you will outlevel them.

The best weapons will be the ones dropped from the World Event (Treasure Maps). You can obtain one (I believe) for every 10 level stretch.

As an example, I was wielding a 17 dps one hander at level 32 (if memory serves, it was listed as a level 45 quest :/ ). Doing a LFD and obtaining a random blue one hander from the chest at the same level gave me a 13 dps one hander. To put it into even more perspective, your rank 1 blue dagger is 21 dps at level 50. Moral of the story: Make sure you keep getting a weapon from a Treasure Map every 10 levels or so.

Otherwise LFD gives you a blue weapon or armor piece at your level.

As far as I know, Dusty Sacks from random cairns located throughout the world no longer drop weapons. They used to be great for getting purples. [I've leveled four characters recently who must have opened 30+ sacks combined without one weapon over the last month, so either weapons no longer drop or I just suffered from the worst RNG ever). Still, the sacks are worth grabbing for random blue armor pieces (can spawn green ones too). Look on some community sites for exact locations for all of them.

We did the Treasure Map quest for the 10-19, but haven't gotten a Treasure Map to drop for us despite doing a ton of Rifts/Invasions. I guess we just need to keep at it. Thanks for the info.

Also, with the Dusty Sack, I've only gotten armor out of it so far.

What is LFD? This is my first toon in this game so not sure what every acronym is yet.

You'll get the next tier of broken weapon fragment from the worn treasure maps at level 23 if that helps (and another at 33 if you continue leveling during the event).

    http://rift.zam.com/en/item/91A899D6...Falls-Stiletto x2 is quite decent.

(While the crafted weapons I listed above are mainly for warriors having high str. However, they are both suitable weapons for leveling. Heck, you could add a Thiefstone to the recipe if you'd like to give it some dex to make it feel more "rogue-like".)
