Default Newby question of the day

It's straight forward, and I should know the answer to this, but unfortunately I do not.

How is offhand weapon damage used to calculated melee dps?

I run a Bd/sin/nb hybrid, and recently picked up a 34 dps axe which has lower dps stats than my 29 dps dagger (Snagged a tanking axe from GP, thought it might see dual purpose on my dps set).

Does the offhand weapon DPS matter, or is it effectively a stat stick?

as a BD your quick strike and precision strike fully use your OH's dps in calculating damage. serated blades also uses the DPS of the weapon that applied it.

Fantastic. I just tested it quickly on the dummy and saw what you said. The tanking axe drops my Keen strike by a point or two (due to lower dex and AP), but my quickstrike hits for 30 more.

    Damn edit button.

But just to confirm, attacks like Puncture, Backstab, and finishing moves calculate off of the mainhand weapon dps exclusively?
