    Default Bladeranger (or whatever)

I don't know if this spec was posted before, did a quick search and found nothing on this forum.

Our warriors in our guild finally use spotters order, so I wanted a build utilizing as much as many hits and dots as possible, while it still should be easy to use.

    Here is the skill-layout: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1M...0VRcxob.Vf0G0o

31 in ranger for the dino, buffs, dots and a little ae.
19 in assassin for crits, even more dots and buffs.
16 in bladedancer for the onomnom deadly dance and bladetempo.

    Macros I use:

    Macro 1:
    #show Precision Strike
    suppressmacrofailures
    petattack
    petcast Rend
    petcast Bloodied Blow
    petcast Razor Lash
    cast Precision Strike
    cast Backstab
    cast Keen Strike
    cast Quick Shot
    cast Weapon Barrage

    Macro 2:
    #show Puncture
    suppressmacrofailures
    use Words of War
    petattack
    petcast Rend
    petcast Bloodied Blow
    petcast Razor Lash
    cast Puncture
    cast Backstab
    cast Quick Strike
    cast Keen Strike
    cast Quick Shot
    cast Weapon Barrage

    Macro 3
    #show Deadly Strike
    suppressmacrofailures
    petattack
    petcast Rend
    petcast Bloodied Blow
    petcast Razor Lash
    cast Deadly Strike
    cast Head Shot

Buffs to use: predatory instincts, lethal and virulent poison.
Before the fight I prebuff myself with blade tempo, poison malice and expose weakness on the mob (I use a macro aswell for this).
    then it's:
    macro 1 - head shot
    macro 1 - deadly strike
    macro 2 - deadly strike
    macro 1 - deadly strike
till head shot falls of and I begin with the rotation again from up to down again with a blade tempo buff after the first deadly strike (poison malice too if I got the energy)

    what does the macros do?
macro 1 uses the deadly dance buff for precision strike + backstab + (a buffed) keen strike and just another keen strike for the later quick strike.
macro 2 uses the deadly dance buff for puncture + backstab + quick strike and another keen for the precision strike in macro 1.

I have 595 dex, 624 ap and 774 crit with only selfbuffs, 29,2 dps daggers and can get up to 940 dps on the boss dummy.

I am sure the are better builds out there, but I wanted sth. simple and still effective.

Ill have to try this, I like the Melee Ranger builds, and was thinking one similar to this, instead of the general 31 Rang/32 Assassin/3 BD or NB.

    QFT

    /10 char
    Rank 4 Cleric (Inquisicar) [retired]
Rank 6 Rogue (Sin, Sab or NB) [retired]
Retired from Rift due to a lack of PVP content and increasing server instability.

I took out the points from the ae-skills in the ranger tree and got crippling shot and more health instead. Sabo beats this in ae anyway. Still doing very good with this.
I also took out head shot from the macro and put it on a seperate place on the skillbar. Buffs like blade tempo, poison malice and words of war went to the deadly dance macro, so they are ready when the real dps begins.
I wonder how it would fare on plutonus, never been there, wont be there anytime soon.
