    Default Melee PVP Build

I just dinged r2 and I'm looking for a more serious PVP build.

At the moment I'm running 44/22/0 NB/Sin/Inf. It has a ton of survivability which helps me to hold nodes in codex.

I'm looking for something hopefully similar, where I can't really be kited, with some survivability tacked on.

Basically I want to stick to my target, and not be forced off until they're dead, or im heavily outnumbered.

You may want to test this one out: http://forums.riftgame.com/showthrea...w-with-Footage!

It's a ninja/porting style relying heavily on perma stealth and stuns. Macros are on the second page of the thread.

The thread is somewhat old but I still use the spec. Not sure if there's an updated version for any patches.

Would a build like this work? Gives my 2 snares, and a ranged finisher, with a ranged CP builder in fiery spike, while giving me all the stealth and huge dot damage from Sin, as well as an "OH ****" cooldown in cleanse soul + slip away.

You could try my Nightdancer build I made, it's very similar. You gain the mobility you lack with sprint and charge, you retain the survival cooldowns of nightblade as well as gain side steps as another option. It's not a conventional build, but it's solid.

As for the build you posted, while decent, I don't think it will stick to your target like you are hoping for.

I like it except it doesn't have reliable stealth, which as a r2, I pretty much have to rely on

I should have added that to my op, sorry.

I've never been a fan of having two stealth builds as a lot of the key talents and abilities kind of collide with each other. That being said my main stealth builds that I have enjoyed both have 22 RS as sub spec for the mobility and survivability so that being out of stealth isn't as painful as it has to be. 44 NB 22 RS is one of the hardest rogue specs to handle as a ranged class or as a healer since my mains are a mage and a cleric I would know. When one jumps me it's always the same thing, either he's reducing the heck out of my my damage done to him or he's just plain un attack-able. Then you think you are safe by getting out of melee range and in come the ranged nukes followed by a frustrating death.
