    #show Backstab
    cast Serpent Strike
    cast Backstab
    cast Savage Strike
    cast Quick Shot

This is the only macro I use. No, I don't have puncture on my macro.

this is the dumbest comment ever what sin doesn't have serpent strike (reactive) and backstab (must be behind) ahead of savage strike? Have you ever played an mmo before?

Same macro I use. with a supressmacrofailures thrown in. 51sin/15inf/0rng.

I've thought about making a macro for expose weakness, the poison buff, and words of war trinket, but other than the main attack macro I don't use any others. Just about every other sin skill is situational.

I dont use backstab (nor a 51 sin build) as it's very rare you'll get to use backstab in a 1v1 nor group for that matter (vs player that are aware), pluss its damage isnt that high.

    You're doing it wrong.

Serpent's Strike + Backstab is a ton of burst damage, especially if you go BD instead of INF.

SS regularly crits for well over 2000, Backstab crits for over 1000.

I time my serpent strikes, so I keep it off my macros.
Retired due to lack of PVP content and boring/repetitive game mechanics.

I time mine as well, with it in the macro.

Jagged > Impale > Deadly Strike > macro (serpents) > macro (backstab) > slip away > Assassinate > Deadly Strike > macro (serpents) > macro (backstab)

I throw a foul play in there if they try to run off, or if I can't get behind them.

I don't always incorporate slip away of course, that's just my max burst rotation.

When I say time, I mean I save it for an appropriate moment.

I'v heard of this build before. How is the 15pts spent in BD? I dont see how it is better than 15 into inf... I'm trying to max my damage on my asn so any input would be great.

You really only need 13 points in BD, for the 3 points in Deadly Dance, so you could go 51sin/13bd/2inf. Most people go 15 for the 70% sprint and a little extra dex.

Deadly Dance gives you 21% more damage per combo point for the next 3 combo point generating abilities after Deadly Strike is used.

So Deadly Strike with 5 combo points gives you +105%, or more than double damage for your next 3 combo generating skills.

Meaning, if your Serpents crits for 1100, it will now crit for 2200+. Backstab critting for 800 will now crit for 1600+, while Deadly Dance is going.

I thought DD was pretty common knowledge amongst rogues. It's sort of our version of strike like iron.

Yeah you would think, but a lot of rogues have no idea about it. I still see a ton of Sin/NB builds running around thinking they have the highest burst possible.
