Stealth is so we can avoid the mages, clerics and warriors.

Slip away is so when our high damage doesn't kill anyone we can live to avoid more mages, clerics and warriors.
Rogue: 0/0 HK or any other PVE content. Over 120+ days /played in PVP content exclusively as an Assassin. (yes, 2800 hours)
Yes, I know MM and NB rule. No, I don't want to switch to a MM. Yes, I know they are the best. No, again, I'd rather improve Assassins.

Because we have less survivability and less damage. Surprise and a small chance of escaping is really all we got.

What do other get to avoid you?

And when there damage does not kill you .. what do they get to run away and not get killed?

They stick in big groups, which lets them avoid us. If they are stupid enough to run off alone, they suffer the consequence.

As far as less damage, less damage than plenty of classes in this game. MM actually gets 2 get out of jail free cards. Speed run that removes root/snare and the 20m retreat.

Functioning group abilities like being able to maintain damage output longer than a few seconds after coming out of stealth.
Maybe he just wanted to steal our wire cutters. You ever think of that?

You do realise, I hope, that if you remove stealth&slip away, the assassin doesn't have a high damage anymore... Right?

Assassins are beyond mediocre when they're fighting in plain sight.

    Cough *Mages* Cough

We have what, 1/3 the Armor/Physical mitigation of a Rogue? Our only viable PvP spec is Pyro... and it's the definitely of a glass cannon.

I'd trade Fulminate for Slip Away any day of the week.

im levelling my 2nd character which is rogue and it is beast. i am loving it.

stealth is a primary function of this class, this is nothing new. it is the design, if you're not stealthed very much youre not as effective especially as assassin. assassin and marksmen are all you need, i can imagine a premade warfront group of just these 2 and a healer.

Being that it's so important for assassins, well they get to Slip Away in combat as long as they're 31 pts into it. I think this is fine.

Most Mages/Clerics have enough self-healing to take care of the DoT's. Tons of Warriors have the 100% self-heal. Everyone can drink. Assassins are also easily un-stealthed once you know they are there, so if they use SA, just start spamming area effects.

Speed is on a 21 second timer. Whether it stops damage or not, it saves my *** a lot more than SA on a 2 minute timer.
