Default Alsbeth's relic dagger is insane.

Played around with The Weeping Edge on the PTS.

In both my Sin/Ranger and NB/BD/Sin builds, the proc alone added an astonishing 48 DPS. This was with the generic raid gear bundle and self-buffs only.

    Here's the proc description:

Equip: Grants a chance for your melee attack abilities to cause your target to bleed for 120 over 14 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.
And it procs CONSTANTLY. It puts Greenscale's dagger to shame.

Honestly, this feels kinda broken. Expect a nerf in the near future. In the meanwhile...I wants it.

Since Trion loves poor wording, I assume the dagger proc will actually work from ranged weapon attacks too :P

I mean most/all trinkets that says something like melee in their tooltips works from bow and gun attacks too ^^

(To the cupcake that asked about where it drops, well read various parts of topics and links again and maybe you'll figure out where it drops!).

Are you thinking of physical attacks, which don't mention anything to do with melee that's an assumption made by you.

i assume you play rogue right?

if you look at most of your abilities, it says "weapons damage plus..."

more base weapon damage = more overall damage in your rotation

The stack effect doesn't appear to be working.

In one post, you've managed to bring out the worst in capitalization, punctuation and spelling.

I dont know why 2 hand DPs war got a 2hander that increased his DPs by 93 last night in charmers. Not that it matters anymore Trions made it pretty clear that they intend Melee rogues to suck sand. Great game Stupid bad balance for melee damage. wars doing as much damage as mages. rogues are ;aughed at in PVP and shunned from alot of endgame pve content unless your a bard, but thats slowly going too as Archon and chloro are showing them selves to be much much better support classes. Sersiosly though i dont think they will nerf that dagger ROS is supposed to be a step up from GS in gear stats

I'm not even a Rogue, but even I can understand the OP better than most of you it seems.

Nowhere did he say that it only increased his DPS by 43. He never stated the actual increase to total DPS, he only stated the DPS from the proc alone.

Also, 43 DPS is not as small as it sounds with current DPS levels. This isn't other MMOs where people are putting out 3k+ on single target. (Or EQ2 where people put out 100K+ on single target :P)

And, if it's true that the stacks are not working correctly, that will only increase the DPS when fixed.

Would be amazing for my Ranger spec in conjunction with the Verdant Archbow additional effect lol.

As far as 43 DPS goes, that a SIGNIFICANT increase from a simple added effect from a weapon.

The proc does not work on ranged attacks.

One interesting thing to note is that as a Nightblade, Fiery Spike procs the Verdant Archbow in melee range, and Primal strike etc procs the Weeping Blade.

Weird part about it was that fiery spike wouldn't proc the bow unless I was in melee range.

I'll test it out some more tonight, and report back with findings.
