    Question Stat Conversions

I was doing some research this morning and came across a discrepancy between the Zam wiki, and telarapedia. I'm not at my home computer right now, so I can't confirm this for myself; but what are the actual conversions for base stats? For instance, the Zam wiki shows 1 Dexterity = .5 Phys. Crit, 1 Dodge, and .4 Parry; while Telarapedia is showing 1 Dexterity = 1 Phys. Crit, 1 Dodge, and .5 AP. Thanks for your help guys.

    1 Dex = 1 Crit, 1 Dodge, 0.5 AP (for Rogues)

But 1 crit rating does not = 1% crit.

Have more people tested the whole AP vs Crit thing? The issue I see is that the higher you go with crit, the less benefit you get, while AP should theoretically scale a lot better..

I know that mages benefit a lot more from SP, rather then crit but there doesn't seem to be any definitive answer for rogues. =\

They scale with each other. As you get more crit, AP gets better. As you get more AP, crit gets better. (Relative to their previous values) I don't know that anyone has done the math for their equivalence with each other at a general level though.

Strip down all your gear except the weapon. Loose some 200+ AP.
Hit something. Wear your equipment. Hit the same thing. Look all amazed.

AP scales just awful, in particular with our "1 sec GC".

It's not that crit is all that, it's just that it's so much better than AP.

I've done enough to know that AP costing twice as much as crit on itemization budgets is stupidly out of balance, making half of all the t1/t2 epic leather gear virtually worthless as it is right now.

    Also, what up

Yeah, there are definitely some issues with itemization costs. I'm pretty sure parry costs the same as dodge as well, and yet is ~73% as effective.
